My Andalusian Balcony.
Description
Hi, my name is María Victoria, I am outgoing and a traveler, after many years of enjoying the hospitality of other people I have decided to return those good times and present my charming corner. It is a 30m open space room with a very "Eclectic" style. I am proud of my little flamenco corner, it breathes Andalusia. The room has a separate entrance, kitchen and bathroom. PLEASE READ ALL SECTIONS OF THE AD. The space The room/studio is part of a newly renovated 3-story house, but with an entrance completely independent of the rest of the house in the inner courtyard. It is located on the 2nd floor of the house. The house has an exterior wall, which gives you a lot of privacy and tranquility. It has everything you need to make your stay as welcoming as possible: Equipped American kitchen. Full bathroom. Air conditioning. Guest access As soon as you enter, you will reach an Andalusian-style interior courtyard full of dishes and pots. I love its amazing terrace to enjoy summer nights in a romantic atmosphere having a drink or with a barbecue and enjoy sunny days in any other season. These spaces are for community use and all members of the home will have access to the interior patio and terrace as it has tables and chairs for all guests. Other things to note VERY VERY IMPORTANT. THE NEIGHBORHOOD. Granja Suarez is a residential neighborhood. We are NOT a tourist area. You will NOT find restaurants or leisure areas. You will find typical neighborhood shops and a few cafes. If you decide to visit us, you will have to buy groceries at the supermarket if you want to have lunch or dinner at the accommodation. So if you are looking for a tourist area, close to the beach or downtown, THIS IS NOT YOUR IDEAL APARTMENT. We invite you to look for another place that suits your needs 😉. We also want to explain what our neighborhood is like. My neighborhood, Granja Suárez, is a town on the outskirts of Malaga with low houses. It is a very quiet and safe neighborhood with little car traffic, ideal for backpackers or to disconnect from work. It is located on a hill that over time has merged with the city and is now a peripheral neighborhood of the city. It is a working-class neighborhood with NARROW AND STEEP streets. A large car will have many problems. In short, it is a village, so it is important that you understand that if you decide to visit us, you will have to climb VERY STEEP SLOPES since we are on a hill. You will hear the neighbors with their daily chores and their animals such as dogs, chickens, roosters or the neighbor's pig and yes, the animals also make noise😉. There may also be insects, we are in a house with many plants, so if there are bread crumbs you may see some ants and the neighbors also have cars, so if you come by car, you may have to look for parking and if you return late, you will surely have to look, but as in any city in Spain. Our recommendation for getting around the city and the neighborhood is to leave your vehicles at home or parked. Public transportation will be cheaper. We have good connections 5 minutes from the apartment. There are 2 buses that take you to the historic center and take about 25 minutes to arrive (lines 7 and 38). The exit to the highway is 5 minutes away. A taxi to the center is not expensive either, about €10-11. So our suggestion again, if you are looking for proximity to the historic center, the beach, if you are in POOR HEALTH or just do not like to walk, maybe this is not your ideal summer place 😉. As you will see, we are being very honest, we prefer 2 happy guests who know where they are coming to 3 unhappy guests who have the wrong expectations for not having read the ad 😊. --------------------------------------------------- VERY VERY IMPORTANT. PARKING. The first thing we would like to tell you is that there is no private parking at the house, the parking area is on the street, it is free and you will not have to pay 🙂. In the morning there is plenty of parking on the nearby streets, in the afternoon you will have to look for it and at night it is VERY VERY DIFFICULT to find parking, so my recommendation is to go up with the car to leave the luggage, then leave the car parked before going up the hill and walk up, then use public transport to visit Malaga🙂. You can look for parking on the streets of the hill if you wish, but remember that they are narrow and steep streets, large cars will have MANY problems. And keep in mind that it is a neighborhood with its neighbors and their cars, we do not guarantee that you can park easily, sometimes you can park at the door, but others will have to look and I think it is normal, the neighborhoods of large cities are usually complicated in that aspect😉. PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION. Do not park on the apartment's street, it is a narrow, dead-end street. And there's a risk of scratching the car😉. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. The first thing we like to recommend to our guests is the use of public transport. We are firmly committed to sustainable transport. Malaga has a large network of ecological buses from which you can get anywhere and a large fleet of taxis that take you to the historic center for just over 10 euros. We recommend our guests to leave the car at home and visit Malaga by bus or taxi. You can get to know the city better and avoid parking problems. Malaga is a very busy city with vehicles and it is very difficult to park in any area. There is a bus stop line 7 about 5 minutes from the accommodation and has connections to the main boulevard (25 minutes), a few meters from Calle Larios, the heart of Malaga, bus and train station (35 minutes) and the line continues parallel to the coast, which also puts the beaches within reach (45 minutes). ------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT. ALLERGY AND ASTHMA. We like to be honest with our guests and are aware of our limitations. If you suffer from any of these diseases, our accommodation IS NOT YOUR IDEAL ACCOMMODATION and we invite you not to book. Our accommodation has several flights of stairs and is at the top of a hill. You have to climb several very steep slopes to get to the house, so people with ASTHMA will have a lot of trouble enjoying our accommodation. In addition, Malaga is a coastal city and there is a lot of humidity, both in winter and summer. It is important that you take this into account if you suffer from ASTHMA and want to visit the city. It is also important to know that if you suffer from ALLERGIES, our accommodation is not for you either. We have many plants that generate pollen, we are very close to the countryside and being on a hill the wind usually brings some dust. We clean after each guest, but it is possible that there may be some dust generated during your stay and for an allergic person it may be a problem. So our recommendation again, go to a hotel or a lower and more central area, in the countryside there will always be dust and pollen😉. ------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT. CHECK-IN. The accommodation has a separate entrance. Our in-person check-in hours are Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, except for unforeseen circumstances. Self check-in will take place after 9:00 P.M. Monday-Friday, holidays and weekends. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IMPORTANT. LEGISLATION. It is important to note that we comply with the current legislation in Andalusia and that for this reason it is required to keep a logbook. Upon check-in, you will be asked for an ID to verify the guests' details and take note of them to comply with the requirements requested by the authorities to keep a record of travelers. A traveler registration must also be signed with all the data requested by the Authorities. (Spanish). It is very important to have your ID upon arrival as it is a prerequisite to occupy the home and if you do not want to provide the requested information, access to the home will be denied and the reservation will be canceled.
