The Gathering Place - Karapiro

Spacious 4 bed, 2 bath, 2 living area house set on 1 acre and all within a close proximity to major Waipa Events Centres including Don Rowlands Rowing @ Karapiro Domain, the Avantidrome, and the Red Barn. Tourist attractions include Hobbiton and the beautiful Waikato River. Great central location for exploring to Tauranga (1hr), Rotorua (1hr), Waitomo (1hr), Taupo (1.5hr), Auckland (2hr). The space Lovely, comfortable family home with room to relax and entertain. 4 bedrooms: Master - queen bed with possible queen air bed Room 2 - 2 king singles and 1 single Room 3 - 1 Queen and 1 single Room 4 - 1 king single and 1 single 2x Queen Airbeds (for lounge) and a portacot can be arranged when required. Ensuite off the Master Bedroom and a large bathroom downstairs making it convenient for other 3 rooms. Hot water heated by Infinity Gas. Please note, additional beds are raised queen airbeds designed and cater for 2 people. We’ve hosted groups for the following events who have all found our home very well equipped: North Island Rowing Champs Waka Ama Dragon Boat Racing Maadi Cup NZ Polo Feildays Exhibitors Karapiro Flyer Cycling Race Wedding/bridal parties for Red Barn, Jakama Lodge Hydroplanes CrossFit games Family gatherings Guest access Access to all areas except workshop and a self contained unit that is occupied by another tenant. They have no access to the house. They have their own private courtyard and parking and keep to themselves Other things to note On site we have a workshop where we run an Engineering business - husband and 1 worker is out on site 75% of the time. We have a forklift that will be driven around the yard at times so care needs to be taken when entering the property. Hours of operation is Monday-Friday Considerate working hours will be followed. Our work hours are 7am-4pm with my husband tidying up after 4pm. We will be staying 15 minutes away if there were to be any issues. Other tenant: He keeps to himself, and is very quiet, friendly and respectful of your privacy. Animals: We have two cats, and one dog. The cats will not be on site during the duration of your stay. If you are highly allergic to cats, please keep this in mind. We have cleaners come in before your stay to ensure it is as free of allergens as much as possible. The dog is strictly an outside dog, extremely friendly, safe with children, and will not invade your personal space other than for a pat. He will bark on your arrival. Dependant on your booking days, he may be in his Kennel on site and we will manage him or he will be offsite with us.
