Newly renovated house, situated in an old typical fishing village, with a recent touch of modernity brought by a new Marina (200m), cafes, spa & gym, & restaurants. Right in front of Porto's historical center (10m car or boat trip), exquisite views. The space The house has been completely renovated, modern architecture beautifully combined with some details left from the old house. Completely furnished, very comfortable in summer or winter (we have installed central heating and a lovely wood burner) and uniquely located. Afurada is a typical ancient village in Vila Nova de Gaia, just across the river from Porto, and offering the best view of the city you can get. Porto is very near, but there is not a lot of public transports so it is useful to have a car. If you are arriving by air, you can get usually a quick an inexpensive rent at the airport, but in high season it is best to book in advance. Taxis are a great option, there are a lot and they are not very expensive. Guest access Free WiFi, kitchen equipped with microwave and electric stove, fridge. Beautiful terrace to relax and enjoy the view. Other things to note Please be aware that some cars are unable to drive all the way up to the house, which means a 100m climb. There is free parking at 100m distance from the house. To park closer to the house, you need to talk with your neighborhood. Also, the house has a number of steep stairs. So, be aware with children.
