Orchard Cabin - Cabins@Aithernie, East Fife

Our cosy cabin sits in a small orchard on our property which is semi-rural and set on the edge of farmland. We are situated at the entry to the beautiful East Neuk of Fife which includes the pretty harbour towns of Anstruther and Crail and is renowned for its many types of crafts. We run a Stitching Studio and Gallery on our premises. St Andrews is only 14 miles away, Dundee 24 miles and Edinburgh 37 miles. There is a main line station at Kirkcaldy which is 9 miles away. The space The cabin is situated approx 50 metres from the main house and is very private. It has a veranda which gets the evening sun and a log burner for those cooler evenings. We have a small area of woodland behind the cabin. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedroom 2 has a double bed with a single upper bunk and there is a comfortable sofa bed in the main living area which can be screened off for privacy. There is a communal dressing area with hanging space and shelving and a place to store luggage. We can provide a cot and high chair but please make sure you let us know this is required at the time of booking. Outside is an area of grassed lawn and a beautiful private patio area solely for the use of guests along with barbecue for outside eating. Guest access Off road parking on private drive off farm road. Space for up to 3 cars. Gravel path to cabin. No stairs but all doorways have a 4 inch sill due to style of construction. The whole property is set in 1 acre of garden and the area in the orchard around the cabin is for sole use of guests unless being mowed. Patio area adjacent to the cabin is usable but is being upgraded over the winter and a BBQ area added. There are also 2.75 acres of woodland and paddock to enjoy as well as extensive access to local walkways and bridleways. Other things to note Local amenities include Sainsburys, Lidl, Aldi and Spar as well as other 7/11 stores. Many local take aways also deliver and are on Just Eat. Registration Details FI 00166 F
