The building, which is at the very heart of Avigliano Umbro, dates back to the 13th century (it was part of the castle of Avigliano U.) and is decorated with frescos in the lower floors. The swimmng pool is located in another property of the host's family, about 6 km (3,5 miles) from Avigliano Umbro. The reviews date back to 2016 because the house has not been rented since 2016 due to the earthquake of October 2016. In 2023 the house has been renovated and is open again to Airbnb guests! The space There is no garden or other external space (with the exception of the swimming pool which is not adjacent to the house; please read more on this below); the building is accessed directly from the street. On the first floor there is a living room with frescoes, a kitchen and a service bathroom. On the second floor the single bedroom and a bathroom. On the third floor, two bedrooms: one double (with the possibility of joining the two beds and making a double) and one triple with a bunk bed and a single bed. The third floor also has a sitting area with TV and a pouf that can be used as an additional bed (the 7th), and another (third) bathroom. The house is mostly furnished with antiques. During the summer, guests can make free use of a private swimming pool, not for exclusive use but shared with the owner family, which is located on an agricultural farm about 7 km from Avigliano Umbro. The house has several floors and flights of stairs. It is not suitable for people with difficulty climbing stairs or for small children because some sections of the stairs do not have a railing. Other things to note Avigliano Umbro is a great opportunity to reach Rome for a one-day trip. At the railway station of NARNI-AMELIA you can get a train and arrive in one hour at the Termini Station, which is the main central station of Rome. The ticket is 6,25 euro in second class.
