The Old School Weather Shed, Gundy

The Old School Weathershed is located in the small and vibrant village of Gundy, 20km east of Scone in the Upper Hunter. Boasting lovely scenery, horse studs, cycling and bushwalking it is a beautiful, tranquil part of NSW with plenty to see and do. The Old School of Gundy was built in the late 1800's and converted to a stunning home in recent times. The Weather Shed is the children's playground shelter, beautifully converted into luxury guest accommodation. The space Detached from the main house, the Weather Shed comprises a bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Separate area with sink/fridge/tea/coffee facilities. Situated in a lovely garden setting and newly renovated with deep pile wool carpet, exquisite décor, quality linen and luxurious queen bed, you are assured of a relaxing stay. Walking distance to the local pub (open Wed - Sun) and shop. You can also walk or cycle to scenic lookouts including over Glenbawn Dam, right from the door. Other things to note Please note the local pub is open Wednesday through to Sunday lunchtime for food. We can arrange some light meals outside of these times if required.
