The space The Manse – A Relaxed and Stylish Devonport Stay Perfect for two couples, a small group, or a relaxed work trip, The Manse is a beautiful and welcoming home filled with natural light, comfort, and all the thoughtful touches to make your time away feel effortless. The Bedrooms The first double bedroom is sun-filled in the morning and spacious. The second double bedroom has great cupboard space, loads of natural light, and (importantly) it’s close to the coffee machine! Need an extra bed? We can easily set up a trundle in either bedroom or one of the two lounge areas — just let us know what works best for you. All beds are made up with high-quality linen (yum). The Kitchen A spacious, well-equipped kitchen with both conventional and steam ovens, a cooktop, dishwasher (because honestly, who wants to wash up on holidays?), coffee machine, fridge, and everything you need to cook or entertain with ease. The New York Lounge With its gorgeous gas fire and heat pump for year-round comfort, plush lounge, two big leather armchairs and Apple TV/DVD setup, this room is made for winding down. It gives serious New York jazz bar vibes — minus the smoke, plus a wall of books. Dining & Entertaining The dining room comfortably seats eight and flows into the kitchen. Sit back, relax, and throw out a few 'helpful' suggestions while someone else does the cooking. Or head out — you're close to great cafés, picnic spots, and local takeaway. Watching the Spirit of Tasmania make its way through the river is surprisingly captivating. The Deck Designed for laid-back outdoor living, the deck features a large gas BBQ and dining table. Lie under a tree, listen to the gentle splash of the urn-style water feature, and just enjoy the serenity. Traveling with kids? Let us know, and we’ll happily empty the water feature for safety.
