The space Welcome to our condo in the mountains! Our spot is situated at the top of the ski hill in Truckee in a quiet neighborhood that is just ten minutes from Donner lake and the quaint downtown. Beautiful views of the mountain and backyard access to seasonal creeks, hiking trails, and recreational clubhouses mean you don't have to go far to enjoy your stay. Explore a little further and you have multiple breathtaking alpine lakes, rivers, fishing, golfing, and more at your fingertips. Vacationing here is an easy package. (Our house manual provides an extensive section of local recommendations) Alder Creek Adventure Center hosts a number of great mountain biking trails and is only a short ride away. This small but mighty condo is on the top floor of the building and contains an upstairs 2 bedroom loft. Suitable for hosting couples and families alike. The two semi-private rooms host a bunk bed (full on bottom, twin on top) in bedroom 1. There is a closet, small fold out couch and queen bed in bedroom 2. All cotton bedding make for a comfortable sleep. For families with small children, a pack n' play is provided as well as clip on high chair, toys, and a baby gate at the top of the stairs. The kitchen offers a full stove and oven, microwave and convenience items such as oil, vinegar and spices for your stay. The coffee bar includes a keurig, french press and drip as well as stocked coffee, teas, creamer, sugar and hot chocolate. The bathroom also provides courtesy shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The living room hosts a dining room table and seating for six and extra bar seating for entertaining guests. Slide open the deck doors and walk out to a sunny view of the ski hill. Pool towels are provided for a visit to the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, gym that are at the clubhouse 5 minutes down the road. This Tahoe Donner condo comes with attractions such as: 2 pools, restaurants with fire pits, small grocery store, hiking trails, private lake access, equestrian center with lessons, mountain biking, golf and more. Some amenities are members only. The condo comes with guest passes with which there is an additional guest fee requested at the facility. Guest access Guests have access to the full unit, the downstairs lobby and second floor laundry room (courtesy detergent under the unit's kitchen sink). We highly recommend the flexible booking option due to our every-changing mountain weather and frequent guest bookings. We cannot refund the non-refundable booking for any reason. Other things to note We're very excited that Tahoe Donner is in the process of constructing a new ski lodge! This does mean that construction will be ongoing, but the hours are limited and we haven't heard any negative feedback from guests about the construction. Tahoe Donner is doing additional construction at the Trout Creek Recreation Center which means, unfortunately, that all pools and hot tubs will be closed until mid-December. There is a spiral staircase (see photos) that can be challenging for mobility limited people and may be uncomfortable for people with small children. There is a baby gate at the top. The small size of the unit and kitchen make the smoke detector sensitive when cooking. Please use fans or open the door to help with air flow. Registration Certificate Number (RCN): 031046
