We offer accommodation in a private home shared with our family and other guests—ideal for language students or cultural exchange visitors. Located centrally near Balluta Bay and the St Julian’s/Sliema seafront, with free street parking. Close to English schools like EEC-ITIS, NSTS, Chiswick House, the University of Malta, and Malta Hospital (for student placements). The space This is a very spacious twin bedroom with a large window that provides the warmth and natural light of the Maltese sun and blue skies. The curtains and window blinds give the setting for a restful night. The room has a private bathroom with a large walk in shower. The desk, flat screen smart TV and the large tall 3 door wardrobe give all the comfort one may need. It is truly home away from home! One can find a tall mirror and a hairdryer in the room. The furniture in this room is stylish modern and white, contrasted by a raw solid large handmade headboard that gives warmth to this space. The room is very convenient on the same floor of the kitchen and backyard. It is a spacious and affordable accomodation in the centre of Malta and St Julian's, ideal for those who want to rest in a comfortable space or for those who will be studying/working in Malta. The room is in a shared house with other guests. For summer days we provide a fan in the room. Should you wish to upgrade to an AC, the cost is €8 per night. This is to be used for heating in cold days, same rate applies. Guest access Carmen will make sure you have a familiar face everyday, she is the owner and she makes sure to keep the house clean and tidy. Jess is also there to answer all your questions. We like to give our guests their space. We are always very reachable for any questions you might have, if we are not at the house, message ue on airbnb/call & we reply quickly Jess can give you tips about the Maltese islands so you can have tips from locals :) We like to greet all guests and open for them on arrival to show them around the house. If we are not at the house or you have a late arrival we have a lockbox to enter flexibly anytime (please let us know of your arrival time upon booking). We provide a key to the house and a key to the room so that our guests can have their privacy. Guests are free to use the kitchen, living room and backyard & to clean after use and ensure all gadgets are unplugged/switched off after use when using the kitchen. For your safety and peace of mind, security cameras are installed in the kitchen, living/dining area, and at the main entrance. During your stay We like to give our guests their own space while on holiday though we are always available for a chat and to provide tips for places to visit in Malta. We are also available on whatsapp for guests for anything they need including tips and and recommendations they need while in Malta being a historical place or a restaurant ;) Other things to note Please note that apart from total payment due there is an eco/ city tax of 50c pp per night up to a max. of €15 pp. Total payment is to be settled, in cash For your safety and peace of mind, security cameras are installed in the kitchen, living/dining area, and at the main entrance and first floor. The entrance, kitchen/living room and courtyard are shared between guests. Some rooms have a shared bathroom while others have a private bathroom. For summer days we provide fans, should you wish to use the AC there is a fee of €8 per 24 hours. This is to be used for heating in cold days, same rate applies. We do not do laundry- if needed by long stays any laundry will be charged at €8 and date need to be agreed before with Carmen. Hand washing facilities are available in the backyard.
