The space Standing high on the top of one of the seven hills of Rome- the Coelian- this unique villa occupies an unparalleled position. It may truly be claimed that from no other vantage point in the Eternal City- with the possible exception of a helicopter- could one simultaneously command views, as one can from here, of the dome of St. Peter´s, the Aventine, the Baths of Caracalla, the Appian Way, St John Lateran, the Aurelian Wall, the Colosseum and the Palatine. In addition to this, all these monuments are within five to ten minutes away, on foot, or with the number 628 and 81 buses from just outside the gate. Guest access The orchard surrounding the main house itself, known as the Villa Habsburg, is the only remaining private park within the ancient walls of Rome, and thus in the very heart of today's city.
