We are sharing our home with you and offering hospitality as a friend. We do not wish to be treated like a hotel. Private Room with 2 bunk beds AND Loft Room with Queen bed. Private bath. The entire upstairs is yours to enjoy. There will be no one else in the other room. Maximum accommodation is a party of 4. If you are a party of 1 or 2, there will be no other guests in the other room. We maintain a 'No shoes, No pets, No fragrances' policy for those with sensitivities. We have very good air conditioning - so you will be comfortable in the summer months. There is a blind in the loft room for added privacy. Ample drawer and closet space for longer stays. While we are child friendly, the space is adult oriented and not child-proof. There is no TV. Guests have the entire second floor. Use of the fridge and microwave, but no cooking. You may use the kitchen and deck for meals, but no cooking. You are welcome to relax on the deck in season. Please communicate your ETA prior to check-in so we can plan around you. Please remember we live in this home and we are not a hotel, so we request check-in no later than 9pm. We are well traveled and have hosted guests from all over the world for many years. Sharing travel stories on the deck in summer or in the newly remodeled kitchen is welcomed. Or if you prefer to be left alone, that's ok too. Extending peace is our intention at all times. We are only 1 block from a beautiful park with walking, running path and stream. Free street parking is available in front of the house. We are conveniently located only 1 and 1/4 mile south from the interchange of Rt. 30 and Rt. 24 - And only 2 miles east of I-83 York is centrally located to the following tourist spots: Lancaster - Amish Country - 25 miles east Gettysburg - 35 miles west Hershey Park - 30 miles north Philadelphia - 95 miles east Baltimore - 55 miles south Washington, DC - 95 miles south Harley-Davidson factory tour - 4 miles We will gladly assist with all local tourist info. and recommendations, including a great selection of local restaurants.
