RIVER VIEW GETAWAY

Relax on the New River in the renovated hayloft of a horse barn -- perfect for a peaceful country getaway. Located at the end of a winding rural road, this apartment is on a working cattle farm with 3/4 mile frontage along the New River. Hike, fish, canoe, or just watch the hawks, deer, geese, and turkey. The space As mentioned, our "River View Getaway" apartment is actually a renovated hayloft above an old horse barn. Although there are no horses currently in residence, the property is located on a 94 acre working cattle farm. (No animals will be stored in the barn during your stay, but you may see cattle in the fenced off paddocks.) Enjoy sitting on the rocking chair porch overlooking the fields and New River. You may spot some of the local wildlife including white tailed deer, canadian geese, or wild turkey. Although not commonly seen, black bears, coyote, and foxes may also live in the area. Inside the barn loft apartment, you will find all the comforts of home including an open living area with leather sofa (which pulls out to queen sized bed), dining area, and kitchen. The full sized bathroom is off the hallway. The rear of the apartment contains a large bedroom with skylight and King sized bed. All linens are of course laundered between each stay including the Duvet covers. (So no dirty bedspreads or blankets!) We will provide toilet paper, papertowels, trash bags, dishsoap, and travel-sized bathroom toiletries, however for long stays you will be responsible for additional supplies. There are large flat screen televisions in both the living room and bedroom. We provide Dish Network satellite TV with all the network stations as well as HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Starz, and many more. High speed gaming/streaming internet is unfortunately NOT available in this area. Most guests report that they can use their phone data instead. It should be noted that this property is located at the end of a long winding country road, which becomes a one lane gravel road near the end. There are 19 steps up to the front door. A number code on the front door allows for self check-in. Other things to note Of note -- There is proven T-Mobile and Verizon cellular service once on the property, however service is spotty on route to the farm, so please don't completely depend on electronic navigation.
