Stringybark, Halls on Falls Homestead

Stringybark is part of Halls on Falls Homestead. 90 minutes north of Melbourne. We welcome families, groups, equine groups, horse enthusiasts and their horses, as well as dogs. Stringybark has a beautiful outlook over paddocks and is situated in amongst lots of hills. The house accommodates 6 guests comfortably, however, there are beds for 8 (16 guests if you book Stringybark and Hillview) Ideally suited for friends and family. Communal pool open Dec-April. No parties or loud music allowed. The space The homestead is set amongst tranquil gardens and has a swimming pool available during the summer months. A BBQ under the shady gazebo, is at your disposal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a Basketball ring and small cricket pitch. There is a dedicated horse arena, paddocks to home your horse and direct access to horse trails. On the homestead, we use sustainable energy to produce our own electricity, harnessing solar power. Our pristine water comes from captured rain water. When using water for showers, flushing the toilet and using power, please be mindful of our natural resources and how limited they are. Guest access You are welcome to enjoy walking around the property, please be aware of all of our animals and the wildlife. If you would like to interact with the animals, please ask and we will accompany you. The sheds, generators, pool pump, water tanks and any other equipment is off limits. Other things to note If you only book Stringybark, there may be other guests in Hillview at the same time as you, depending upon bookings. Stringybark is dog friendly - dogs must be sociable, as there are other pet dogs living on the property. Dogs are allowed inside the house and on the furniture, but NOT on the beds. They must be toilet trained. Please put your dog on lead if it is going to chase our wildlife, birdlife and farm animals. We provide a water bowl, dog towel and bags for cleaning up after your dog. Our 3 Bernese Mountain dogs love to meet and play with visiting dogs, if your dog would like to have a playdate :)
