Heartland Hideaway is your home away from home. Centrally located to so many of KI's most popular attractions and beaches. With undercover verandah all round, undercover carpark, large airconditioned games room, no matter what the season there is plenty of room to move for the whole family. Very private for couples and large family groups, Heartland Hideaways cosy setting allows you to relax and enjoy your holiday surrounded by all that nature has to offer. An original family farm homestead. The space This Listing can accomodate up to 21 guests on request. There are also 2 cots available for infants upon request. Please notify the host if more than 16 guests need accommodating. There will be the extra charge of $25pp for each guest over 16 including for infants and children. Most days you will see koalas in the surrounding trees, kangaroos in the driveway, cheeky possums and wallabies visiting at night and an abundance of bird life. Guest access From the house yard guests have the opportunity to see some aspects of a working sheep farm. There are many animals in the surrounding areas. Although access with the animals is not permitted for safety and animal welfare reasons guests are welcome to pat(but not feed) any animals that approach them at the fence. Tiger Trails Horse Riding is on the same property which is a wonderful opportunity to experience the landscape and nature on a majestic horse trail ride- Fun for the whole family! Bookings essential. Children should be supervised at all times! Other things to note Due to the remote location there is limited mobile/internet reception and no WIFI facilities available. A simple call or text to the host at any time will be responded to. Important to arrive prepared with supplies!! Main supermarket for this area is located in Kingscote which is a 45 minute drive. Limited essentials only from nearby town of Parndana and Vivonne bay shop. Nearest restaurant is Parndana Community Hotel available for evening meals up until 8pm.
