Casa Flora Villa, Morjim

Casa Flora villa is close to the beach with great views, restaurants and dining. It is in a rural location with views over the palm trees to the sea, a tropical garden planted with tropical shrubs & flowers, the dawn chorus of birdsong & the sound of waves breaking on the shore. The furniture is all handmade locally and the fabrics used are colourful and reflect the surrounding natural environment. The rooms are decorated in an English country style with many objects brought over from the U.K. The space The villa is a unique building designed by a English architect, in the style of a traditional Portuguese house. The outside living spaces are comfortable, shaded and enclosed by a garden wall on all side. The sunbeds are perfect for relaxing in the garden or next to the plunge pool. You can enjoy meals on the verandah or upstairs on the Colonial style furnished balcony. There is also an Indian-style swing on the verandah, a rattan hanging chair on the balcony and a hammock. There are two double bedrooms with private bathrooms and two single sofa beds downstairs (which can also be arranged as a further double) with a family bathroom attached. There is solar-powered hot shower water in the downstairs bathroom. Wi-fi is available throughout the villa and garden. Guest access The villa is accessed by a lockable gate from the road, with parking space on the drive inside. Villa, garden with barbeque and small plunge pool are for the sole use of guests. The front door and outside bedroom doors all have decorative, lockable grilles and there is an electronic safe for guests` valuables. The villa is enclosed in a secure and private garden next to the lane leading down to Morjim Beach. Our family live nearby and will be there to meet you on arrival and will visit each day to provide daily maintenance, refill the pool, water the plants in the garden and make sure you are happy staying at our beautiful villa. The garden and plunge pool belong to Casa Flora villa but there is also a private garden cottage in the grounds, offered to guests practicing yoga at the nearby Shala. Casa Flora is a friendly place where people can relax and usually wish to share the pool and garden, by mutal agreement. Please ask if you would like to have total privacy and keep these facilities for your personal use only. Other things to note Our villa is near two small shops but the local village has a wide range of shops, market stalls, restaurants and utilities.There is a bus stop with a regular service to Mapusa town, Panjim city and nearby beaches. A short walk down the lane to the sea takes you to many different beach shacks and bars.In one direction to Turtle Beach and Chapora River, the other towards Asvem and the many beach clubs there.
