Our lodge is 3 miles from the charming town of Grand Lake & 7 miles from the Western Gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park. Cozy up to one of our 12 themed cabins nestled up to the canal. Enjoy the comfortable atmosphere of the mountains by our 2 communal fire pits. Year around fishing, hiking, and new Gameroom. MLL was built in the 1950's; these authentic rustic cabins are the perfect retreat. Onsite are 3 outside security cameras for your safety. One camera is located in detached Gameroom. The space This cabin comes with full kitchenettes, futon, coffee table, fireplace, private fenced yards, deck, private charcoal grill, shower, amazing courtyard for all guests to gather. Come in the Winter or Summer you'll feel right at home in the "Gone Fishing" cabin comes with 1 bedroom. Spectacular mountain views of the canal with amazing trout fishing in our backyard. Enjoy our queen bed with views of the tree's & eclectic decor the cabin feels like you went fishing. At Mountain Lakes Lodge we provide exceptional hospitality with sparkling clean cabins that have been updated with modern amenities. Our property has a very big lot for boats, trailers, and big equipment please let us know in advance if you'll be bringing these items. Please note parties and events are NOT allowed here at Mountain Lakes Lodge due to COVID-19 this is clearly stated before you book. Guest access These adorable rustic themed cabins at Mountain Lakes Lodge come with several amenities onsite. In the middle of the lodge there's a huge courtyard with a big communal fire pit several picnic tables & bbq grills for the perfect Rocky Mountain getaway. Our property has two huge wild raspberries bushes to pick fresh. Also the cabins nestles back to the canal were you'll find horse shoes, corn hole, & another communal fire pit. The guests are welcome to fish from our backyard in the canal excellent trout fishing. Our game room is currently under construction till summer of 2020. We are a family & dog friendly establishment we have a rustic park on site for all guest & kids to enjoy comes with swings, slide, & a little rock climbing wall. During the summer don't miss our fresh herbs we grow on property the perfect finish to your dinner cooked right on one of many bbq grills. No breakfast on site or in cabins however we do have coffee, tea, & some snacks. Other things to note Remember being so close to RMNP means there's a ton of wild life in the area. On the property you can see elk, moose, fox, chipmunks, & black bear! Observe at a safe distance, please dispose of your garbage responsibly & never feed the animals. Our pet friendly property has individual private fenced in back yards with decks. We'll allow well behaved dogs with a $35 pet fee for each dog please see rules for details. Reminder Grand Lake is known for the largest natural lake in Colorado. ***NOTE: Our area can be assessed year around via I-70, & during the summer via Trail Ridge Road from Estes Park. It's open approximately from Memorial Day weekend in May through Columbus Day in October. Please visit National Park Service for any updated road conditions. Please note Trial Ridge Road is CLOSED in the winter. Keep in mind you can still drive 10 minutes into RMNP with access to trails & visitor center in the winter. One final comment looks can be deceiving this place looks different from the outside then the inside. These cabins are adorable themed cabins 12 onsite with years of love from local artist. Come inside before you make up your mind & check out the mountain views.
