Description
Located only 300 m from the centre of town and one kilometre from the beach – at Costa del Sol’s only unspoilt coastal stretch. Málaga and the airport can be reached within 30 minutes by car. This independent 35m² apartment is part of Cortijo Molino in Almayate with a private, fenced garden of 1000m² with lawn, lounge areas, BBQ, pool and panoramic views over the sea. Should the main house be rented out you would share the pool and part of the garden with other guests by arrangement. The space The apartment is part of Cortijo Molino also containing the main house for up to eight people, which we rent out individually in the low season. The entire property got freshly renovated in 2017 and all installations and electrical appliances got replaced. The apartment has a generous kitchen/living/dining area with a huge butcherblock, a dining table and comfortable sofa. The bedroom with double bed as well as a little bathroom with shower is located in the back part of the building. There are two separate entrances, one of them leading to the sweet little terrace with nice places to enjoy both the sun or the shade. With its tasteful and stylish furnishings our accommodation clearly stands out from other standard holiday homes with their purely pragmatic interiors that are no big loss when damaged (but certainly no delight). Here, you find high-grade furniture, nicely matched textiles, classy dinnerware and cutlery, very special decoration objects and fancy art on the walls. Just walk in – and immediately feel at home. The nicely landscaped garden has areas of lawn, colourful flowerbeds, a herb garden and fruit trees – according to the season you can pick grapes, figs, nisperos, nectarines, apples or apricots. The curved pool is the ideal place to cool down on hot summer days while enjoying a 180 degree view over the sea. And those who love to swim can go on and on with the counter-current system. Guest access The apartment and its outsides are your home and castle. Should the main house not be rented, you can go wild around the entire property. But in case other guests occupy the main house, please find an agreement for use of the pool and garden to respect each other’s privacy. Other things to note Simply for more independence and the ease of exploring the region we recommend you rent a car. However, we’ve had plenty of happy guests without – it really is only is a five-minute walk to town where you’ll find plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping facilities. To the beach, it’s a fifteen-minute walk. You can park your car(s) in the driveway and also on the premises behind the gate. Besides, there is plenty of parking space on the street just in front of the house. Kids are of course very welcome, but please be aware that the house is not child proof. The pool is not fenced and has a deep end. Pool measures: 6,70m x 3,50m, depth 1,60m. Despite the currently alarming water situation in Spain, you will not encounter inconveniences. We have our own well and are thus not dependent on the suppliers regulating consumption in other places. Of course, we do ask you to make responsible use of our water. Pets are very welcome, please take a close look at the photos to determine if your dog may jump over the glass front around the pool or the walls fencing the garden. Our neighbours have cats who sometimes like their stroll around the garden, unless scared away by guests’ dogs.
