Our luxury home is nestled on North Star Mountain. It is near Quandary Peak Trailhead and less than a mile from the Hoosier Pass, just steps from hiking. Serenity at its finest with all the comforts you should expect! And yes... we have amazing mountain views from every corner of our house! It provides an Alpine Experience at 11,000 feet. We love owning and managing our home ourselves, and understand how to make it as welcoming to you as to our own family. Our license number is BCA-78954 The space Our impeccably furnished upscale home features a modern décor with three generous bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, including one private master suite bathroom, one large shared bathroom upstairs, and a guest bathroom on the main floor. The main bathrooms each have soaking bathtubs with separate oversized walk-in showers, and dual sinks. All bedrooms have upgraded plush carpet. Each of the three bedrooms is beautifully decorated and you’ll especially enjoy the high-quality linens and pillows that provide exceptional comfort. The master suite bedroom has a queen bed with a plush mattress and private adjoining en-suite. The bedrooms upstairs include one king and one queen bed—both bedrooms are quite large, each with a comfortable sitting area. The upstairs bedrooms (each) have also been designed with custom built-in trundle beds, allowing two additional young adults or children to sleep in these bedrooms. The main floor of the house has solid walnut floors, vaulted wood ceilings, and a two-story floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace with remote control. The large great room has spectacular views of the mountain tree line. A 60-inch flat screen TV is mounted above the fire place. An abundance of windows frame the mountains and let in bright sunlight all throughout the day. A state-of-the-art kitchen awaits you, with stainless steel appliances that include a refrigerator with French doors, two ovens, a four-burner gas range top with down draft, and a low decibel dishwasher. The centerpiece of the kitchen is a spaciously designed granite island, providing a well-equipped kitchen fully stocked with all the amenities you’ll need for gourmet meal preparation, including exceptional dining and glassware. A Keurig coffee maker awaits your early morning musings with K-cups provided. You will truly feel pampered in our kitchen! You may choose to eat informally at the counter, which includes four bar stools, and there is also a comfortable large formal dining room with a spacious table. There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer off the kitchen for guest convenience. A family room deck and upper level decks in each bedroom are ready for your pleasure. The larger deck extends from the shared living space on the main floor (facing the backside of the house), with a beautiful view of the treeline and mountains. There are also two smaller balconies off both upstairs bedrooms... perfect for star gazing! The lower basement level of the home is a separate locked off area that is presently unoccupied. Guest access Guests enter our home through the front entry door which leads to the main floor. Guest access is through a person-free, self-directed key pad located on the front door. Prior to arrival, a unique code for each stay is provided to enter the house. Private driveway allows for up to 5 cars on the premises. Other things to note 4-wheel or all wheel drive vehicles are REQUIRED for this home in winter. There is a washer and dryer in the mud room. We provide liquid laundry soap, SHOUT for spot removal, laundry softener and dryer sheets for your convenience. There is a utility sink in the laundry/mud room. Ski boots and winter clothing may be kept in the laundry/mud room. There is a bench for your convenience in this space. You may enter the laundry/mud room through the shared garage space. An iron and ironing board are provided in the laundry/mud room. Trash and recycling is picked up on Fridays by Waste Management. We have a private well with very refreshing water.
