Ashok Tree at Yogiville is located in rural surroundings with breathtaking views of both sunrise over the holy mount Arunachala & sunset over the hills. We are away from pollution & bustle, tucked away in farmland within nature in eco farm, 12km from Tiruvannamalai. This listing is for Standard Room on the Ground Floor The space Ashok Tree are the guest accommodations at Yogiville India, where we have 4 guest houses available on a shared or private basis. These Standard Rooms, 176 Sq Feet, have air conditioning, en-suite bathroom with hot water 24/7. Rooms have ceiling fans and are airy, with stunning views of nature, country side farm land and sunrises over the holy Mt. Arunachala and sunsets over hills. Yogiville resides on 12 acres of land on the outside of a village, located 12 KM from Tiruvannamalai in South India. The land has been transformed over the past few years into a homeland for many new and returning species, flora & fauna. We have a variety of fields dedicated to orchards, many varieties of trees and farming of many types of vegetables & grains for our guests and the cows & dogs we rescued. The focal points for our guests are the Yogashala, Meditation Bowl, fire ceremony and temple area. We believe that reconnecting with nature is part of the experience. The swimming pool is quickly becoming one of the favourite areas for guests to relax, cool off and chill out. Neuroprana is our onsite ayruvedic and naturopathic treatment centre, where you can indulge in relaxing and restorative treatments or plan for a comprehensive treatment program like Panchakarma Treatment for 7+ days. At Yogiville India, we are traditional with our approach. For example, the food prepared by our onsite kitchen, Ananda Kitchen, is grown onsite or locally, is organic and will follow sattvic principles. No meat, no meat substance, no fish, no poultry, no eggs, no meat product derivatives, no onions, no garlic & no mushrooms. Our food is prepared fresh at meal times, following the principles of ayurveda. We see yoga as a way of life, not just a physical practice and the approach we take to nutrition / food is just one example. Another example, is how critical yoga and meditation are to the onsite charity school we support. The classes / practice are integral to their education, health, behaviour and focus. We really hope that the school can change the future for these children, as we get back to basics with yoga. As a casual guest, you can participate in yoga or meditation classes. We offer our space for Residential programmes and packages for groups to hire for teacher trainings, retreats and courses in Ayurveda, yoga, meditation and other holistic programs. We do not permit smoking, alcohol or drug use on the premises. We do not accept guests to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol while onsite at Yogiville. Profits from activities are used to continue the development of local grassroots community and charity projects run by Yogi Ashokananda Foundation registered charity, BK4/50. Guest access Guest have access to dining rooms in Ananda Kitchen, Yogashalas, Meditation Dome, Temple area (respectfully), swimming pool, orchards, gardens, farm land and planned access to the Charity School on the adjacent property. Other things to note Ashok Tree & Yogiville are non smoking, drug free, alcohol free, meat free and meat product derivatives free zone . Ananda Kitchen serves Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, kitchen closes at 9:00pm. Neuroprana Ayurvedic & Naturopathic Treatment Centre is open from 10:00 - 5:00pm Transfers available for pick-up and drop-off at the airport, bus station and railway station.
