Your living space extends to the 10m2 balcony, furnished with garden furniture, where you can relax and watch the beautiful Mediterranean sea view at both sunrise and sunset. The apartment is located at Thalassa Beach Resort & Spa, in Bafra, on the south east coast of North Cyprus. Thalassa is a residential beachfront resort, perfect for couples, solo travellers as well as families. It is a fantastic resort for long holidays, mini-breaks and weekend getaway holidays in North Cyprus. Rest and relaxation or activity and action, Thalassa has something for everyone. Other things to note Please note that we require a damage deposit of 100 GPB/100 EUR upon arrival which will be refunded in full upon check out after inspecting the apartment. As we are a large residential complex we offer a variety of apartments and it might be that your apartment will not be the identical apartment shown in the pictures. Nevertheless, you will be allocated an apartment that matches the same facilities and amenities as the one shown on the pictures including size, utensils, number of bed/rooms and so.  Q: Shall I rent a car? A: The resort is located in a secluded and beautiful area of North Cyprus, and even though there’s lots to do at the complex, there’s not much around in the immediate vicinity of the compound. We recommend renting a car if you’re planning on visiting the island or visiting villages or cities around. We can help with your rental car – which costs 25GBP per day (minimum of 3 days). Q: Do you have parking? A: Yes, there is ample free parking at the property. Q: I am arriving late in the evening? Can I still check in to my apartment? A: Yes, our office is open daily until 5pm but if you arrive after office hours, the security guy at the entrance will guide you to your apartment and will provide you with the keys. Q: How do I get from the airport? A: The distance from Larnaca Airport is approximately 2 hours away while Ercan Airport in 1.5 hours away. We provide shuttle to and from the airports for 55 GBP to/from Larnaca or 45 GBP to/from Ercan. (up to 4 people. For 6 people an additional 10GBP per one way will incur). Q: Do you have a restaurant on site? A: Yes, our beach-front Deks restaurant & Terrace are open daily from 8AM to late evenings offering both local and Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Q: What other facilities you have? Do you have a Spa and a gym? A: Yes, Thalassa Beach Resort offers many leisure facilities including seasonal swimming pool, indoor pool (open all-year), kids club, private beach with sun loungers as well as full service spa with Hammam (Free) and treatment rooms. You are more than welcome to visit our Spa and Wellness Center to book a massage. There’s a modern and beautiful gym on the premises with many machines, free weights and cardio vascular equipment and it is free of charge for guests. Q: I am planning on cooking my own meals – is there a supermarket around? A: Yes, we have a mini-market on site for basic ingredients. A larger super market is located 5-7 minutes’ drive from Thalassa. All the apartments are equipped with a kitchenette/kitchen with cookware to prepare your own (light) meal. Q: I am going to work during my stay and I need a good WiFi, what is the internet speed? A: Internet speed is 20MB download & Upload, meaning you will be able to easily keep up with your work. Q: Is there a dedicated work space in the apartment? A: You can use the dining table to work on. Alternatively, you can work at our on-site restaurant. Q: Is there a washing machine in the apartment? A: Yes, in all of our apartments there’s a washing machine. Q: What electricity do you use in North Cyprus? A: The electricity supply in Cyprus is 220/240 volts AC 50Hz and standard fittings, three pin, 13 amps are used the same as in the UK. We always have adapters if you need and we’ll be happy to provide you if needed. Q: I see that there are different pictures on the site. Which apartment will I get? A: We don’t guarantee a specific apartment but we guarantee a specific category. This means that you will receive the same amenities as shown on the pictures with regards to style, size and number of rooms, however, each apartment is furnished differently and might not look exactly as shown on the pictures.
