Busstop Maastricht-Liege in front of house. Ideally located for hikers on the "Dutch Mountain Trail". The space The house is old and unspoiled, with many authentic features. Since we bought it some 18 years ago, we put in a lot of love and work, to make it into the beautiful, unique, enjoyable home it is for us today. Nothing luxurious or extravagant, but perfect for those able to appreciate it. Its location on a large terrain stretching from the main village road to the Meuse river is really superb. It is also rather big for just us, which is why renting out part of it for others to enjoy makes perfect sense to us! Come and enjoy the unique biotope & caves of Montagne St Pierre, take the foot ferry across the Meuse river to Eijsden (NL), take in the impressive view of the locks of Ternaaien, and the havoc wreaked by the beavers in the Meuse's bays; have a refreshing swim in the river... Or just have a rest in our river-side garden, a stroll by the river, and a wholesome, relaxing night on your way to elsewhere. Guest access You will have your own part of the house available to you, with a private back entrance. The 2-p bedroom is relatively small, but comfortable and cosy. On the large, high-ceilinged landing you can sit down to have your breakfast: fridge, water cooker, coffee-maker, and toaster available. Up the narrow stairs is a vide perfect for lounging. It offers a great view, and the fantastic experience of Terapy's 'Baloo' beanbag. If you recharge your electronic devices, it will be with green energy from solar panels. We also invite you to enjoy the large garden, which borders directly on the river and its footpath. There is plenty of parking space available on the terrain. During your stay We are available for any questions, and are happy to provide you with any information, directions, or tips you might want. Other things to note We will mostly be present in the house during your stay. Because of our daily routines you cannot be noisy after 21.30 during weekdays.
