PaliGhar is a scenic countryside farm-stay, situated at Echhey, Kalimpong, a 30-minute drive from the town area. The mud cottages have been built using traditional building techniques to promote and safeguard Nepali & local customs, heritage, traditions & cuisine. During your stay, you can participate in farming activities, undertake walking tours, village walks, explore Kalimpong in a sightseeing tour & much more. The stay is ideal for 2 people in 1 room. The space The Setting Nestled in approximately 3 plus acres of farmland along with our own perennial source of water, Pali Ghar has a lot of open spaces to stroll around, sit and relax. The farmstay has two rooms and can house upto 4 people comfortably. The rooms The rooms have a lush wooden finish and have large beds for two people each. The two rooms are attached with bathroom each with modern fittings. The rooms are neat, clean and peaceful. It goes with the entire motive of soul searching in a peaceful environment. The food options We provide you breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu comprises of local indian cuisine and lip smacking Nepali snacks. The price of the breakfast is included in your package while lunch, dinner, tea and snacks are chargeable on an extra basis. The Cleanliness We are a farmstay and we like keeping our space and our environment clean. Your rooms would be cleaned on a daily basis. Please do not litter in the garden and dispose off all garbage in the bin in your rooms in a neat manner. During your stay The idea of Pali Ghar is to disconnect from the chaos of the busy modern day to day living. It is a place to come with your family, loved one or simply just by yourself to reconnect with nature, family, loved ones and including you. For this reason, we would like to give space to our guests to enjoy their time and space on their own. However, one member of our family will always be there to host you and offer our assistance at all times. Other things to note We do not provide any room service, or for that matter even a TV. We are family run accommodation and we provide the best services as a home run property. Please not we do not provide accommodation for drivers, so we kindly request you to make your own arrangements.
