Elkhorn Village Mountain Cabin Studio Condo

This cozy mountain cabin studio condo is located in the heart of Elkhorn Village in Sun Valley, Idaho. There is a comfortable queen bed with a ceiling fan overhead to keep guests cool in the summer months. In the winter, after a fun day of skiing, relax by the gas fireplace or watch Netflix on the Roku Television. The space PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS BELOW BEFORE BOOKING… Staying in this cabin-condo is like staying in a well-equipped motel-like cabin but has the advantage of having kitchen and bar. There is a futon that can be converted into a single bed if needed, but the queen bed is super comfortable. There is also a Keurig coffee maker. Guests should be aware that the WiFi is Elkhorn Village community WiFi so the quality varies at times. Parking is inside a covered garage so there is a walk up some stairs from the garage to the condo. This is a three story complex, so sometimes there is quite a bit of noise from the people above. Please note, you are staying in someone’s home and not a hotel. It will be cleaned thoroughly before your arrival, but something might be overlooked. Extreme germaphobes may want to seek alternative lodging. Additional note: Our professional housekeepers charge $105 to clean before and after each stay. The $105 is lower than some other cleaning services in Sun Valley. Be aware of this cleaning fee before booking. Also, please note that our housekeeping service asks guests to take out the trash on check out day. There is a coin washer and dryer in the building and down the hall from the condo, so if you plan to do laundry during your stay, be sure to bring quarters. A wash is $2.50 and a dry is $2.50. One more thing to note: Elkhorn Village does not allow Airbnb guests to bring pets, but allows owners to have pets, so the owner of this cabin-condo, Jo Ann, does have a dog, so be aware that a dog has stayed inside the cabin-condo. Guest access There is a free bus that comes to Elkhorn Village, so guests do not need a car, but if you do bring a car, there is free covered parking for one vehicle. The unit is not right next to the garage; guests will walk up a set of stairs from the garage and then walk across a pavilion type area to the building where the condo is located. Other things to note Guests interested in bringing a support animal should know that this is really a small cabin condo that may be uncomfortable for an animal and it is not animal proof. You may want to consider looking for other accommodations. Also please note: The WiFi is Elkhorn Village community WiFi and is usually pretty good, but sometimes does not work all that well. Potential guests that work remotely may need to know this before booking. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub located right across the street from Elkhorn Village and there are also tennis and pickle ball courts. The pool is only open in the summer, but the hot tub is open during the ski season and also during the summer.
