Come and stay at our slice of paradise, only a few minutes walk to the pristine Mangawhai Estuary or 15 minutes to the famous Mangwhai Heads surf beach. Conveniently located just 1.5 hours north of Auckland, Mangawhai is a great place to spend a relaxing weekend! There is always plenty to do in Mangawhai with the Saturday farmers markets, well established eateries, secondhand stores, walking tracks, golf, vineyards, Museum and the best beaches! The space Located in the heart of Mangawhai Heads, on a prized cliff top position, 'the bach' overlooks the boatie paradise of the Mangawhai Harbour. Located right on the road to the Surf Beach, you will be nestled amongst native bush, providing a peaceful setting and change of pace from city life. The Bach is largely open plan, with the kitchen, dining and lounge all sharing one space that flows out to a deck both sides. There are two bedrooms, located at different ends of the house. One bedroom has a queen bed, single bed and a single roll out bed for a sixth guest. This room offers fabulous views of the estuary. The second bedroom has a queen bed and is nestled into the bush, with a sliding door out on to the deck. The Bach has just had a facelift, with new paint, window coverings, lino, luxurious carpet and a heat pump. Guest access Entire building and site. Other things to note Everything is made easy at The Bach, beds will be fully made with quality linen, fresh towels in the cupboard - just bring your food, drinks, and clothes! Mangawhai is conveniently located between Northland and Auckland the best parts of the upper north island are within a close drive - Matakana, Leigh, Waipu or further Bay of Islands, Kerikeri, even Cape Reinga!
