Directly across the river from the Tides Inn. 7 minutes to the quaint fishing village of Urbanna. Enjoy local music, pubs, boutique shopping, wineries and restaurants. Catch dinner off the dock! Oysters, crabs, fish. Come on down! The space The Point cottage is about enjoying the relaxed river lifestyle. The water and nature views are spectacular from inside and outside the home. See herons, eagles, osprey and more. The property is fully waterfront and boat accessible. We are located on a quiet point of land that juts over a calm creek that overlooks the stunning Rappahannock River. See both bodies of water from the house. Close to the lovely fishing village of Urbanna and the Northern Neck where the Tides Inn is. 1 hour from Richmond or Newport News. 45 minutes north of Yorktown or Williamsburg. Come stay at our place! This is our modest home not a hotel so please relax and go with the flow! The house is professionally cleaned. We have a dog so the house is not dog allergy free. Borrow something if you need to and replace it if it breaks. Stuff happens, just let us know if something breaks or doesn’t work so we can put it on the to fix list. You’ll have the house to yourself. On 1/4 acre with unobstructed water views with a grassy yard. Note of caution: use the steps to the water the cliffs are not safe to climb. Please no parties or events, three car maximum. This is a sleepy quiet neighborhood. Be respectful of the 5 mph speed limit and playing children and pets. Beware ofJelly fish. Swim at your own risk. No diving. Too shallow to dive. Mucky and sandy. Guest access Use of the house and dock but no diving. Not great swimming when the jellyfish are out. Full kitchen with all utensils, paper products and appliances. Use of grill, hammock, kayaks, crab pots, games, foosball table, life jackets and fishing poles. Full washer and dryer. We stay there when we don’t have guests. Two bedrooms are on the first level. Three bedrooms are in lower level. We lock off 1 bedroom upstairs and a few drawers etc.for our things. One level Ranch house with fully finished basement. Other things to note There is a public boat landing on our creek. Depth 4 feet to 7 feet. Tidal. Excellent kayaking.
