Enjoy freedom to walk and enjoy the countryside yet only 3 miles from Kelso, a lovely market town with lovely shops, Castle, Abbey restaurants, garden centres. Garden Bank Cottage is on ground level facing south across lovely countryside to the River Eden and the Cheviot Hills on the horizon. Garden Bank has two bedrooms and two shower rooms. It has a contemporary open plan living room with a small kitchen / dining area, wood burning stove and French - windows out to the decked garden. It has uninterrupted views over beautiful rolling countryside to the Cheviot hills. It has a double bed room with a King size Austrian sleigh bed en - suite shower room and a twin bedded room + shower room. Garden furniture, charcoal bar b q, new all weather - tennis court, river walks and wild life. Kelso has unique shops and lovely eating places. It has easy walking access and is disabled (wheel chair) friendly. One small dog welcome. (showers and no baths). The double is an en suite with an Austrian sleigh bed. The large wet room is adjacent to the twin bedroom. The beds are prepared and towels are provided. The sunny sitting room / kitchen has south facing french windows, with a wood burner and a dining table and chairs for 4. The kitchen has a fridge and freezer, microwave, electric cooker and slow cooker. The new south facing patio has un-interrupted views over Cliftonhill. The views are special. Relax on the recliners and the amazing swing seats. Garden table and chairs. Charcoal barbeque. Garden Bank is wheel chair friendly. The Laundry has a washing machine, iron, ironing board, soap powder and all cleaning stuff. Washing line. There is a huge pile of logs from fallen trees – help yourselves. There is a basket in the cottage to start you off. Guest access The key will be in the door so guests can arrive at their leisure. An estimated time of arrival is helpful.
