Just past Bright, Moonrise Lodge is your wilderness escape. Get excited. It's different here; this is your antidote to the city. We'll provide the authentic log cabin with all the trimmings and well equipped kitchen. Make sure you pack your sense of adventure, and get busy making memories. With endless trails, nature abounds to provide for all the outdoor activities you can think of. Run, bike, swim, fish, forage, float, cook, play, climb, good old fashioned wifi-less FUN. The space You'll be staying in our authentic log cabin. It has 3 cosy bedrooms, 1 huge kids bunk room, 2 bathrooms and all the space you could ever need to store your adventurey stuff and to have a ball. It's super warm, inviting and kitted out for fun with loads of board games for all ages. Our fully equipped kitchen will have you cooking up a storm for the whole family, nestled around the wood burner or outdoor fire pit (Restrictions permitting). Clear nights of star gazing and enjoying each other’s company. Wholesome bliss. Guest access You'll get the run of the property. It's all yours. If you're booking for a smaller group, please let us know and we can explain the best bedroom configurations. Other things to note We don't have any reliable Mobile phone coverage or internet / WIFI inside the house. #sorrynotsorry Don't worry... You'll be ok! It's actually what we love about our place. Switch off your phones and switch on to your family and friends! However, if you need it, you can get mobile coverage if you stand out the front of the house on the driveway, with your arm in the air like a crazy person. You know the skit. It will likely make you ask yourself how much you realllly need to check instagram. Ha ha! If you need to make a call, then a short walk back to the Great Alpine Road ( 200 m away) and you will have full coverage. Oh, & you might get snippets from the back of the kids bunk room, but for goodness sake, don't tell the kids!
