A romantic sea front apartment surrounded by a beautiful mediterranean maquis garden with direct access to the sea through two rocky beaches. You can relax on the beach at any moment, you can swim in the sea whenever you want! We welcome well behaved dogs. There is an extra cost in addition to the cost of the stay which is a cleaning fee of €60,00 due at chek-in and a Touristic Tax of 2 euros per day per person . The space In the romantic 1920's house overlooking the bay of Porto Santo Stefano, Monte Argentario, 150 km north of Rome, there is a romantic apartment right on the sea waiting for you! The apartment is suitable for families with children, in the living room there is a comfortable double sofa bed. The apartment is part of an historic 1920's mansion carefully restored and surrounded by a huge garden . One of the many highlights of this unique property is that it's just 10 minutes walking from the village. The property has a private access to a rocky beach, and that allows guests to swim and dive at anytime! Surrounded by the garden and by a few terraces right on the sea where you can enjoy your meals and drinks, the apartment is very bright and every window offers breathtaking and picturesque views of the bay and the town of Porto Santo Stefano. The apartment is on two floors. Downstairs there is a large living room with a dining table and a separated area (which can be easily transformed in a bedroom, separating the other part of the room with a curtain) with two sofa beds. A bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine and dishwasher. The living room and the kitchen lead to a part of the garden, right on the sea, for the exclusive use of this apartment's guests: this is the perfect place to rest and relax in the sun after a long swim or where to dine at candlelight... A staircase from the living room leads to the first floor where there are two bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (cm 160x190), a wardrobe, two bedside tables and a mirror. The bedroom has a superb view of the bay from its two windows and, laying on the bed, you will feel like being on a boat but with the comfort of being in your house! The other bedroom has a french bed (cm 140x190), a wardrobe and a bedside table. Its window overlooking the garden and the sea. The bedroom leads to the balcony where you have a wonderful view of the bay and the rock beach below the house. The bathroom has a wonderful view on the sea and is equipped with a bathtub/shower. The apartment is complete with linens and everything you need for a pleasant holiday. Guests have free access to one of the rock beaches and some areas of the garden. Some other areas of the garden and one of the two beaches are attributable only for the owners and are clearly indicated by signs "privacy". The place is perfect for a relaxing and secluded holiday, giving also the option to the guest to remain in touch with social life in town, just a few minutes walking. You can enjoy solitude and long swimming in the sea and the sun, or wandering around discovering the picturesque surroundings. You can rent a boat in Porto Santo Stefano to explore the beautiful coves and beaches all around the promontory or you can easily reach Porto Ercole, with its trendy bars, and Orbetello with the local market, many shops and a cinema. Porto Santo Stefano has easy access to two of the most beautiful Italian islands: the island of Giglio and the island of Giannutri, daily connection from the main harbour, but if you love sandy beaches you can also find in this area two of the longest beaches of Tuscany: the Giannella Beach, in front of Porto Santo Stefano, and the Feniglia beach with its pine forest and Ansedonia with the Roman ruins of the old town of Cosa: here you can rent a bike and look for the deers living in this unique natural reserve. You can visit Maremma, home of the Etruscan civilization, with its historic towns of Sovana, Pitigliano, Saturnia and its worldly known Spa of sulphurean water, and Capalbio. Maremma is still an unspoiled and unknown gem with stunning national parks, farmland, forests and beaches. And it can be the starting point to visit all Tuscany and its most important cities, masterpieces of art,history and architecture: Siena, Pisa and Florence.
