All in Kanab which has 2 grocery stores, 35 eateries, 2 theaters & fun nitelife Unit A of Zionab Vacation Homes features a tasteful and fun decor with many original works of art, custom-made furnishings and hand-forged ironwork crafted by the owner. We have tried to supply the home so that all you need in order to vacation comfortably is your clothing. Each unit enjoys it's own private, unshared outdoor space. Cleanliness has always been a priority, but since the Pandemic, we've taken extra measures to ensure you arrive to a clean, sanitized home that is safe and comfortable. In 2022, we switched our laundry soap to scent free and started using more natural, low scented cleaning products like vinegar and Simple Green. Zionab is a great place to enjoy a working vacation with a dedicated work space and fast, reliable 1GBPS fiber-optic internet. The roomy kitchen is well-stocked for cooking up your family's favorites. Besides the glasstop stove/oven combo and microwave, there is a large and mini crock pot, an electric griddle for pancakes and such, a food processor for quick prep, a blender for your frozen favorites and a dishwasher for quick clean-up. There's also a 12-cup drip coffee pot with a single cup option and an electric water pot for tea. As for cooking essentials, Zionab provides a more than adequate supply of pots, pans, lids and bowls to prepare most dishes, along with a nice array of spices and staples like flour, sugars, oils and condiments. We have outfitted the house with indoor games, puzzles and quick crafts. For outdoor fun, there's corn hole and yard darts, a basketball hoop, soccer and footballs, and frisbees that can be enjoyed on site or across the street at the Ranchos City Park. Zionab has a huge outdoor fire-pit complete marshmallow roasters for S'mores. When you are ready to chill, our HUGE flat screen TV with ROKU streams dozens of channels. We offer Amazon Prime as well as a variety of DVD's and an HDMI cable connection for entertainment streamed from your device through the fast 1GBps fiber optic WIFI. There's also Red Box Rentals at both of the nearby grocery stores for newer releases. At day's end you can soothe those tired muscles in a hot, soaking bath in the Master Suite's garden tub outfitted with complimentary bath salts. The 50 gallon, quick-recovery water heater will ensure everyone has plenty of hot water to bathe before bed. Speaking of bed, the Master Suite features a gorgeous king-sized poster bed with a luxurious pillow top mattress piled hight with tons of pillows and invitingly crisp, clean sheets. Cellular shades and black-out curtains make sleeping-in so inviting. The Master bedroom is decorated in a romantic shabby chic decor that is full of soft, inviting textures that make you feel oh so pampered. Enjoy the cozy, mood setting electric fireplace as you wind down from your adventure filled day. The second bedroom is all horses and cowboys with denim and cowhide. The semi-firm, queen-size Serta pillow-top mattress is piled high with pillows and cozy bedding. The headboard is crafted of Juniper wood made from a tree that shaded a livestock shipping corral in it's former life. Blackout curtains and cellular shades close the world out to let you dream peacefully. A comfortable chair makes a great reading nook or spot to relax while you post pictures of the day's adventures. The Cowboy room features double closets with plenty of space to store luggage. This bedroom is located adjacent to the roomy guest bathroom which features a tub/shower combo. The third bedroom, the Cactus Room, features artwork of desert landscapes. It has two twin beds that can convert to a king size bed for added flexibility in accommodating couples. A large, comfortable chair provides a cozy spot for catching up on your social media. Luggage racks and a sizeable dresser help you stay organized. The fourth sleeping option is a futon couch that converts to a double bed located in the office area off to the side of the living room and kitchen. This sunny spot is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an afternoon nap. The office area includes a desk that is outfitted with a charging station, a complimentary laptop and our insider's guide to Kanab and the surrounding area. You are sure to enjoy Zionab's fiber optic internet speed of 1GBps - a rarity for a small town like Kanab. The West facing dining room seats eight and provides gorgeous views of the red rocks and lush green surroundings. A separate breakfast bar has seating for two. The back patio has a bistro table that seats two. Further out in the backyard by the outdoor fire pit is a picnic table that seats 6. It's the perfect area for singing campfire songs and roasting marshmallows or just soaking in the amazing red rock views. If you prefer to dine out, downtown Kanab is just 2 miles away and offers 35 eateries (of which only 4 are franchises). Zionab has central air conditioning and heat with ceiling fans in every room. There is an extra large washer and dryer for your convenience. Need to stretch your legs? Zionab is conveniently located across from a grassy, tree filled city park which offers the perfect place for travelers to stretch after being cramped in a car all day. Take a leisurely stroll around the 1/2 mile track, enjoy a heart pumping game of soccer, throw some Frisbee or fly a kite - all using the equipment available in Zionab's toy box. Prefer relaxing? Then you can enjoy the views of contrasting crimson red and verdant green scenery while you do some grilling on Zionab's private back patio or watch an amazing sunset from the front porch while sipping your favorite cold beverage. Later, you can gather around the private, outdoor fire pit for some fireside stories, songs and marshmallow roasting. As our guests, you will have full use of the home inside and out. There is another vacation rental unit on the property which is seperated by a 10 foot breezeway. Each unit has its own private outdoor area located on opposite sides of the units. Unit A's backyard is fully fenced with privacy fencing that encloses a south facing concrete patio that has a BBQ, outdoor lounge seating and a bistro table for two. The larger graveled back yard features a wood fire pit surrounded by comfortable seating, a picnic table and sweetheart's arbor covered swing. The back yard is fully fenced with chain link wrapped in privacy screen to ensure your children are in a safe, protected area while you unpack and unwind. Off-street parking for three vehicles is up front with easy access to the home. Additional parking for bigger rigs hauling toys is available across the street at the park. We live just down the road, so are available to assist you should a need arise. We love sharing what we know about Kanab and the surrounding area so don't hesitate to reach out. Zionab Vacation Homes are located in a quiet, dark sky neighborhood just 1.6 miles from the Kanab city center and adjacent to a city park with 9 acres of lush green grass.
