This beautiful 1bd, 1ba house is spacious and bright. It's in a quiet neighborhood, just a short walk to numerous restaurants, coffee shops, farmer's market and gourmet grocery stores. Close to Reed College and several parks. It's also only 2 blocks from 2 bus lines, which makes getting around town a breeze. We are very family friendly and happy to help answer any questions, or give recommendations in order to ensure you enjoy your stay! Brand new, spacious and bright, our beautiful guest cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family trip. The tiled bathroom, with its deep soaking tub is perfect for a luxurious soak to unwind after your daily activities. There is one bedroom with a queen size Tempur-Pedic mattress and large mirrored closet with plenty of room for however long you plan on staying with us. The living room also has a twin daybed that converts to a king size bed. The main living space features a spacious open floor plan with bamboo floors, butcher block counters, bar seating and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans and various appliances. A ductless heat pump will keep you cozy in the winter and cool in the summer. We have stocked the house with all the towels, and fresh linens you need to make yourselves comfortable. If there is something we forgot, chances are we've got one in our house next door and would be more than happy to bring it right over for you! You will have the entire house to yourselves, though we do share the fenced yard area and have our own covered patio space as well. We strive to make sure you have the best trip possible, so please don't hesitate to ask if there is something else we missed that can make your trip more enjoyable. My husband and I, along with our 9 year old daughter and 6 year old son live in the main house and are available if you need any recommendations on restaurants, activities etc. You may see us coming and going or playing in the yard, but we won't be in the guest house unless you request us in for something and will happily respect your privacy if that is what you seek. The Woodstock neighborhood is a vibrant, family friendly area. Our house is just a short walk to numerous restaurants, coffee shops, parks, bars, breweries, the farmer's market in the summer, as well as New Seasons Market and Safeway. We are also close to Reed College, and a short drive to Sellwood, downtown and the rest of the city. We are only 2 blocks off of a main bus line on Woodstock and another on 52nd. We are also a short bike or bus ride from the new Orange line of the Max train into downtown. If you are a biking enthusiast there are numerous bike routes in the neighborhood and we are very close the the Springwater Corridor bike path. We are about a 10 minute walk from all the restaurants, coffee shops, beautiful library and grocery stores in the heart of Woodstock. The newest addition to the neighborhood is the gourmet grocery store New Seasons with its rooftop patio bar, firepit and outdoor heaters.
