This unique open-plan 70 sqm studio sits above The Summer House, a small restaurant/bar/guesthouse. With exposed wooden beams adorning the high ceilings, air con, super fast Wifi and a slither of a sea view, the room is ideal for working holidayers or digital nomads. The room is bright and furnished with a king size bed with mattress topper, an L shape sofa, private balcony with hammock and a very comfortable working space. The space Welcome to The Summer House Samui, a charming and cosy guesthouse, restaurant, and bar located just 700m away from Big Buddha in Koh Samui. Guests receive a 10% discount off food & beverages at the on-site Summer House restaurant. The Summer House is under new ownership and management from May 2025 and Courtney is committed to ensuring you have a pleasant stay. Guest access A secure entrance at the back of the house will lead you through a corridor and then to a second locked door to access the staircase. The room is fully secured, private, and guests can access the room 24/7. No other guests have access to the upstairs area. Guests also have access to relax in our beautifully maintained gardens, join us for a drink at the bar or use the restaurant as a workspace/chillout area (please no outside food or drink in the restaurant - in the rooms is fine!) Other things to note IF YOU WOULD LIKE US TO PICK YOU UP: Please contact us in advance to book a taxi transfer from the airport for 350 baht (or any pier, contact us for rates). IF ARRIVING WITH OWN TRANSPORT: In case you are coming to check in with your own transport, we are at the very end of Plai Laem Soi 1, an unsigned dirt road. It's a narrow road but it's wide enough for taxis and minivans, so just make sure you come all the way to the end of the road.
