A house that combines a traditional Japanese house with a Western-style house reminiscent of Taisho Romance and Showa Retro. The small but dignified Japanese garden, built over 100 years ago, welcomes you to the private rental inn, "Dai-mae house". This inn, "Daimae", is located in a temple complex to the east of the Takayama Basin. If you go up the stairs along the mossy stone wall from the road, you will be greeted by a protruding pine tree. When you open the lattice doors, you can see a Japanese garden on the right that seems to have been built over 100 years ago. Enter the front entrance, and enter the living room from the tatami mat hallway, from where you can see the Japanese garden. Further down the hall is a tea room, where you can sit and watch the Japanese garden, which is small but has a sense of elegance. The space This is an inn where you can stay in a two-story old house built in the Japanese style with a Japanese garden that is over 100 years old, with only one group per day. It is a very comfortable space where you can cook, drink, or eat while looking at the Japanese garden, in the tatami mat living room and spacious system IH kitchen. The bedrooms consist of 3 Japanese-style rooms and 1 Western-style room, and can accommodate up to 10 people. There are only two beds in one Western-style room, and the others are futons and mattresses. The spacious bathroom is fully equipped with a laundry, etc. If you come by car, there is parking for 3 cars, so please use it. Guest access There is also a storehouse, but you cannot enter it. All other rooms are available. Please note that the floor of the western-style room on the second floor is not renovated at all and is preserved as it was at the time. Please quietly feel the Taisho romanticism and Showa retro. Other things to note Request for guest list information The law requires all guests to fill in the guest list. Unlike regular hotels and inns, we do not have a front desk. We're asking you to fill in the guest list after check-in. Please note that if you do not fill in the guest list, we may need to cancel your stay. We will not outsource the management of your personal information to a third party. 　[For guests coming from overseas] In addition to the above, a copy of your passport is required under the Private Lodging Business Act. Please email it to us after booking or submit a copy on the day. We will not entrust the management of the personal information you provide to a third party. Our staff can only speak Japanese. If you need to have a conversation, we will use a translator. Please be respectful of the neighbors as the accommodation is located in a quiet area. This accommodation is a traditional building. Please note that all rooms are equipped with heating, but it is not as complete as in a modern hotel. Smoking is prohibited throughout the building. No pets allowed.
