The Door Room

You'll find our large, Victorian house right across the street from the beautiful, historic Liberty Park. It is walking distance to several restaurants, pubs, parks, shops, and grocery stores. Only a few minutes drive to downtown, Sugarhouse, and freeways makes it a convenient location for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Feel free to relax in our space or use it as a home base for all your Utah adventures! The space This room is quite small with a single (twin) bed, suitable only for one person. There are two doors to this room, one to the kitchen, and one to the only bathroom in the apartment, so be aware that you may hear people showering or cooking. But that's why the price is so low! Guest access Guests will be sharing the basement with other Airbnb guests. *All common space is available for guests to use, including the living room, kitchen, bathroom, laundry area, front porch, and the fire pit in the backyard. We provide all the necessary amenities such as bedding, pillows, and towels. You are free to store food in the fridge and use the kitchen, just as you would at home. There are pots and pans, dishes, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker that you are welcome to use. We provide coffee/tea and a few spices/condiments. Make yourself at home, but please clean up after yourself as the common spaces are shared, and respect others. :) Check-in will be from 3pm to 10 pm and check-out is by 11 am. If you need to make special arrangements for a later check-in, please contact us. You are welcome to drop your luggage off earlier or keep your luggage past check-out time, just work out the details with us. During your stay We live on the top floor (separate apartment) of the house and will be available most of the time (when in town) if you need help with anything, have any questions or need suggestions about the area. But if you prefer your autonomy or privacy, that's fine too:) Other things to note This is a basement room so there is not a lot of natural light, but we have tried to put lamps and other artificial lighting to make it feel a bit more cozy. Please remember that there are three other rooms in the basement that will sometimes be occupied so please be respectful of others. *As stated earlier, but just a reminder, if you rent this room, the room is private, but you will be sharing the rest of the floor with other Airbnb guests. This includes the bathroom, the kitchen, and the living room area.
