Beare Cottage - hidden gem with creature comforts

Beare Cottage is a three storey, peaceful, secluded former fisherman's cottage situated in the heart of the unspoilt village of Robin Hood's Bay. The cottage has original features throughout, with modern comforts. The beach, coffee shops, pubs and grocery shop are within 2 minutes walk. The location of the cottage ensures sea sounds, sea breezes and salty air! We have an outside seating area. We provide bed linen, hand towels, bath towels and tea towels. We provide a quality welcome pack. The space Beare Cottage comfortably sleeps four in two bedrooms. The top floor bedroom has twin beds and the second floor has one double bed. There is a fireguard located in the guest cupboard. We provide one bucket of coal for guests. There is a newly fitted bathroom with walk in shower and guests can have additional hot water too. Guests have the use of a patio area with table and chairs for enjoying al fresco dining or a mid morning coffee. We provide all linen, towels, toilet roll, washing up liquid and cloths. Beare Cottage has spiral staircases and low beams. Please contact us if you would like additional accessibility information regarding the traditional features. We provide a quality, locally sourced welcome pack for guests to enjoy too. The location of the cottage is 2 minutes walk to the beach, pubs, shops and restaurants. The cottage is tucked away from Chapel Street for added privacy and you can enjoy al fresco dining or breakfast on the patio, listening to the birds and the meandering stream below. Sorry we do not allow pets. Guest access Guests have full use of the entire property for their stay. Other things to note Dear Guests, The log burner will be ready for guests to use. We also provide a bucket of coal and kindling. Extra bags of coal, logs and kindling can be purchased from the local village store which is a 2 minute walk from the cottage. The local village store has a great selection of items and the closest Sainsbury’s 3.8 Miles, Aldi is 3.8 miles and Iceland 3.8 miles. In Robin Hood’s Bay there are many eateries. Brambles Bistro - 20 yards, Smugglers - wood fired pizzas, Morwen Le Faye Tearoom - 20 yards, The Cove Coffee shop - 10 yards. In addition there is the Bay Hotel Pub, The Laurel pub, The Grosvenor pub and The Victoria pub. All serve excellent food, except The Laurel.
