Our family home is full of love and laughter and this reflects in your room when you come and stay. Your bedroom has its own privacy downstairs in the house with another entrance if you wish. Fresh and clean with comfortable beds, a private bathroom and modern shower, nothing more is needed for your stay on the Thames coast. A perfect cosy place for couples or small families. All linen and towels are also provided. We also provide a lovely continental Breakfast at no extra charge. We take pride in our lovely beach lifestyle here after many years in hospitality ourselves. We are people in the know and would love to get to know you also! We also understand that privacy and comfort is also important when travelling and respect and discuss your wishes on arrival. This year we also offer complimentary continental breakfast, which gives us all time to talk and help with your holiday plan if you like. We have children ourselves so fun and families are encouraged to stay and join in. The girls would love to share the trampoline outside. Its just a hop across a quiet road to the beach for hours of fun or a two minute walk to a beautiful park with the oldest most impressive renowned grandmother Pohutukawa tree. Truly worth a photo, and for children, a total fairy kingdom of roots and shade and playground. Many a party held at this special park. The whole area of Te Puru is a wonderful village to stroll around or even bike. It is a safe and special neighbourhood with a great local shop and takeaway that is well equipped for most foods and wine. Approximately 5 minutes drive up the road to Waiomu Beach you will find a delightful cafe, (photos below) and from near there a wonderful walk to the the Kauri trees, easy for all level of fitness. On many evenings, we are blessed with stunning sunsets over the Firth of Thames as it weaves its way towards the Coromandel township some 45 minutes north of here. This is the time to sip a glass of delicious New Zealand wine. We have years of local knowledge, and can advise on family activities or a more soothing "break away from it all" Come visit with us in this delightful beach-side village, at the Coromandel Gateway Guest access You may use the front door or your own private entrance if your prefer your solitude. There is plenty of off-street parking for all types of vehicles We are "Mobility Friendly" with level grounds outside and wheelchair access to ground floor. Other things to note The Coromandel Peninsula and TePuru, has a lot of pre-European history including a local historic reserve 5 mins walk away with details. Thames is a famous historic mining town with daily mine tours and walking tours through the original "Grahamstown"
