Your journey here begins with a door code that means you can arrive anytime after check-in. You don’t have to rush to meet someone! The apartment is located on the Kanawha River which yields some beautiful river mountain sights right out of your upstairs windows. Toiletries and kitchen wares are provided as well as bedding. There are great sights to visit, Falls, State Parks, Hawks Nest overlooking NR, New River Gorge Bridge, oldest Grist Mill and more. People love the trails, and hiking! The space The whole apartment is available. We have four apartments available on this site and they could all be rented for larger family groups giving space and togetherness all at the same time. Just a thought. This unit is upstairs overlooking the river. We do not have river access at this time. The hill is steep and requires steps which we will get in time. It is a little piece of heaven on the river bank that we hope you can enjoy. Ten minutes down the road is the Kanawha State Park with a fishing pier. Guest access We have a picnic table outside overlooking the River along with a grill for those hot dogs and hamburgers! Other things to note This part of WV is very scenic and provides something for everyone. From site seeing nature’s beauty to enjoying zip lines flying, fishing, kayaking, trail hiking to visiting our Capital and museum. The New River Gorge bridge is often a main attraction along with the oldest Gristmill in the country pictured in many magazines across the country and around the world right here at Babcock State Park. There are a host of things to enjoy. Make the River View your launching place!
