EN Casa da Laranjeira is a contemporary author house, with private pool and a privileged relationship between inside and outside. It's placed into a typical countryside scenery in the Minho region and what makes it special is the way it's inserted in Nature, allowing the guests to relax despite being close to all amenities. It's located between the cities of Ponte de Lima, Braga and Viana do Castelo, and a 20min drive to the beach. There's also a beautiful balcony to have your meals. No pets. The space PT The house has an openspace with kitchen, dining room and living room with flat TV. Possui também três quartos, sendo que dois deles são de casal (um deles com quarto-de-banho privado) e um é de solteiro, um quarto-de-banho comum e uma dispensa. Todos os quartos têm muita luz natural e armários embutidos com espaço para muita arrumação. A roupa de cama e de banho é providenciada pelo anfitrião. EN The house has an openspace with a fully equipped ekitchen, dining room and living room with flat screen. This wide area connects to the balcony, with a view over the swimming pool and the surrounding landscape. It has three bedrooms: two of them have double beds (one of these is a master suite with its own ensuite bathroom) and the third room has a single bed. It also has a shared complete bathroom and a pantry. All rooms have a lot of natural light and built-in closets with plenty of storage. The bed linens and bath towels are provided by the host. Guest access EN Guests have access to the entire house, including the private (not shared) swimming pool. There is plenty of space for parking cars in the arrival area of the house. Other things to note If you like to go for walks, there's a nearby trail called "Trilho de Sao Juliao de Freixo". It's considered short (5,53km long), takes 3h30min average to do it and it starts in Largo do Senhor dos Aflitos, just a 15min walk from the house. It elevates 272m so it can be done by the whole family. You'll see churches and chapels, small rivers, agriculture and animals and a windmill. There are also beautiful trails in Ponte de Lima, but we specifically recommend the Ecovia do Lima, which runs along the Lima river and passes next to the lagoons. Right next to these trails is the "Centro Aventura", great for all ages with all sorts of activities: kayaking, air bungee, slide, paintball, stand up paddle, riding horses, etc. If you like to ride bicycles there´s plenty of options in Ponte de Lima city centre, in Centro Aventura (see above) or even if you-re into BTT, there are plenty of trails. There's a famous park in Ponte de Lima where some champions go to train called "Bike Park Ponte de Lima", not for someone who's just starting. Just 40min drive from the house is Parque Nacional Peneda-Gerês, the only National Park in Portugal. A beautiful way to spend a day, to enjoy the views and go for a swim in the lake.
