With my crazy family, I know what it’s like to need a relaxing place to stay while on vacation. This 1230 sq ft home is unique for adults and kids alike, with each room featuring a special theme for guests. The space In the MCM-inspired Master suite with a king-sized bed, beautiful details, and a soothing color palette make this a space to truly relax in. With a built-in workstation, including a printer, there's an opportunity to get some work done during your stay if needed. The "Desert Oasis" room features a full-size murphy bed, a kid's rock climbing wall, and a cozy space to read books or take in all of the magic of kiddos at play. No TV in this room. The "Arrr...Surf Attack" room is a delight for adults and kids alike. This twin trundle bedroom brings playful surf touches through neon, artwork, and even a full-sized "shark-bite" chalkboard for any budding artist. A surprise awaits in the pint-sized secret pirate lair, a mini-escape that will entertain for hours with its pirate-themed touches. No TV in this room. The backyard is a beautiful escape, perfect for yoga at sunrise or a horseshoe tournament with friends and family. Kids will love the play structure while you enjoy an afternoon nap in the cozy hammock. Round out the day with a plate of smores by the fire pit. The house also has a two-car garage with a NE-MA 14-30 outlet for EV vehicles- no connecting cords included. The garage houses some outdoor games that can be utilized during your stay. Surf 66 is a dog-friendly home with dog doors and even a comfortable crate provided for our furry friends! Please immediately clean up any messes left behind, and don't allow them to damage any furniture. If you are bringing furry friends, please let us know in advance so housekeeping can plan accordingly. Guest access Guests have access to everything in the house. There is a fully functional kitchen with pots/pans and an instapot. The home has a washer and dryer in the garage with laundry detergent for guests. We have yoga mats for the stepping stones in the backyard and a couple of light weights. We have a rock climbing wall inside; and a swing set, spring rider, horseshoe pit, games, fire pit, BBQ, and hammock outside. We have both outside and inside dining tables. All of the play equipment is, of course, used at your own risk. We have an indoor gymnastics mat for the rock climbing wall for you to use. The main living space and master bedroom TVs have Netflix, Amazon prime, and other smart apps. No cable/dish network in the house. Other things to note I’m available almost all the time, so please just message me if you have any questions at all! We have two blink motion-sensor cameras outside by garage door entrance and backyard. Upon booking the camera in the backyard is disarmed. There is also a ring doorbell located on the front entrance- that and the camera facing the garage door will remain on/motion sensor activated. We are located right around the corner from Route 66, so the train is practically across the street. With the windows shut, we could barely hear/notice it. But it’s something to note- especially if you’re sensitive to noise/vibration.
