Excellent restaurants, including child friendly eatery and park two minutes walk away. - Free WiFi - Mountain walks + field - Perfect location - Safe & peaceful - Digital safe The space The cottage is for those seeking something more spacious, comfortable and homey than a typical Cape Town flat boxed in with hundreds of other apartments, yet at a great price. The cottage is freestanding, and not a basement dwelling under a main house like many other places in the area. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS: - The space has a double bed in the private room, and two single beds in the main area which are used as couches when not in use. - The space comfortably accommodates a family of 4. - It offers even more space for a couple/single person. We convert the unused beds into a spacious sitting area. (see pictures) - Can sleep 4 adults on budget. Two adults sleep on the full-size single beds in the open plan area (see pictures). ENSUITE BEDROOM: Cosy and private with a double bed and a view of Table Mountain, perfect for a couple. LOUNGE: Two farmhouse style beds are located in the open plan lounge area; perfect for two kids or relaxed adults. These convert into stylish couches when not in use and the place becomes a very spacious one-bedroom. KITCHEN: The farmhouse kitchen is spacious and charming, opening up via double french doors onto the pool and barbecue area. It has a full-size gas stove with electric oven, microwave, plus everything you need to prepare meals with ample counter space. Guest access POOL: We have a nice big pool which your kitchen double-doors open up on. BARBECUE AREA: Outside the kitchen next to the pool is an open area to make a fire, sit and relax. The shop nearby has some fantastic 'Boerewors', a South African speciality sausage to be cooked on the fire. CLIMBING WALL: We have a small sideways climbing wall on the wall in the alley. Fun for all ages. WASHING: Speak to Beauty the househelp who works on the premises most days - she will gladly do washing and ironing for a small fee. This is payable directly to her and goes towards supporting her family. Other things to note This is a bee friendly environment so those with bee allergies should be advised. Yoga and mountain walking enthusiasts may like to participate in the activities held by the welcoming family living in the main house.
