Description
The house is close to Sanford Hospital, Augustana University, University of Sioux Falls, Avera Hospital and the Midco Aquatic Center. Its also a short drive to the downtown area. You’ll love this home because of its character. It was built in 1921, but freshly remodeled nearly a century later in 2020! The space The house is unique because it's 100 years old, so it has lovely old woodwork and interesting details you won't find in a newer home, alongside a NEW, MODERN kitchen with modern details. The staircase to the second story is 100 years old, so it is steeper than many new homes. Guest access The TV is a smart TV with amazon fire and a few other apps (including abc & cbs live news) but does not have access to standard cable. The TV has Amazon Fire, so it has access to free Amazon Movies and TV only. Other things to note When I host an Airbnb guest, I ask that they leave my home as close to how they found it as possible. Please be courteous and pick up after yourself and do not leave a mess after you have departed (other than laundry, which I will take care of). During your stay, you will have bedding and towels to use. Make sure you always lock the house whenever you are coming and going. Additionally, to cut down on utility costs, I ask that you remember to turn down the AC or heat to 70 degrees when you leave. I also ask that no pets come into the home and no parties or events are held during your stay. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING ON THE PROPERTY. Just FYI, I request a security deposit, however Airbnb does not collect the security deposit unless a claim is made after your trip. My expectation is that I will never have to use this feature, however it is enabled because I value my home and my belongings.
