Set in our mature 2-acre garden with use of the orchard, it's the perfect getaway for couples and solo travellers to unwind and relax. Nestled amongst tranquil cider orchards and farmland it's an ideal base for exploring the delights of Somerset with plenty of local walks and bike rides direct from the door. Easy access to The Mendip Hills, Somerset Levels, Street, Bruton, Frome and Wells. Friendly pub in the village. The space A sympathetically converted, detached stables, built of local Blue Lias Limestone. The rose covered porch leads to a spacious open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and comfy lounge area featuring a large vine surrounded, picture window providing glorious views across the garden and orchard beyond. Downstairs bathroom with shower. Up the quite steep stairs (not suitable for those with any mobility issues) you will find a large dressing area (which could accommodate a travel cot) and an airy double bedroom with low exposed beams, accessed through the original barn door. Outside is the south facing patio with table and chairs perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or afternoon tea. The patio area is separated from the rest of our garden by a discrete fence, so it is private and dog proof. You are welcome to walk through our garden to the orchard where you can walk and exercise your dog or sit and enjoy a drink as the sun goes down. We are situated at the end of no through lane making this is the perfect spot for walkers, cyclists (storage available) or anyone just wanting to get away from it all. Just a gentle stroll to the welcoming local pub with plenty of other options to eat out nearby. Guest access You have the whole lodge and patio area to yourself. Off road parking for 2 cars.
