Description
On the edge of the Peak District, Breach Farm is just outside the village of Carsington. Situated in beautiful countryside with rural views. Created from an old stone barn, the cottage is comfortably furnished and well equipped. We are next to Carsington Water and are ideally located for exploring the areas attractions, historic houses, pubs and walking routes. The market towns of Ashbourne, Matlock and Wirksworth are a short drive. Friday to Friday bookings preferred in peak season. The space Damson Cottage sleeps 2 people in an attractive double bedroom which looks out onto your own garden. It has a comfortable sitting room with large sofa, rocking chair and dining table for two. The sitting room has French doors leading out to your garden and patio which has lovely views of the surrounding countryside. There is a well equipped fitted kitchen with gas cooker, fridge and microwave. A separate shared utility room houses a freezer, washing machine and ironing equipment. All bedding and bath towels are provided. The cottage is also equipped with tea towels, kitchen roll, washing-up liquid, sponge, hand soap, toilet rolls and a hairdryer. Guest access You have sole use of Damson Cottage during your stay with your own enclosed garden area. We have ample private parking and storage facilities for bikes, boats, wind surfing boards and under cover lines for drying wet suits. The cottage has a folder with local information from eating out, walks, cycle trails etc. We live on the site so can help with any other queries. Other things to note This is a rural area and a car is recommended
