Marmara @ L'Annicha

Welcome to “L’Annicha”, our home in the picturesque Quercy region of France where you will get away from the hectic day-to-day in a serene and authentic setting. The Marmara room is the most unique room we have. The wall paintings give an illusion of marble walls with roman columns and has a mini-suite feeling. It has an ensuite bathroom and excellent quality bedding. It is a bright room with a nice view of the hills, as well as the garden, the fantastic pool and the terrace. The space “L’Annicha” is a spacious property of 4,5 hectares located on a quiet dead-end street with 360 degrees views on the hilly countryside. Our B&B rooms are on the first level of a traditional "Quercynoise" house from 1878. The stately house has maintained its original style which is reflected throughout the property. The 25m lap pool was built with this in mind and therefore local material were used. Even the sports and meditation room (located in the barn) has maintained its original character. The common areas of the main house have been furnished with our own South-East Asian accents which gives it a serene atmosphere. You can enjoy the quietness and the views of the rolling countryside from benches positioned at strategic places throughout the property. And even from within the pool. Please note that our infrastructures are not suitable for children younger than 12 years. Guest access You will also have access to all common parts like living room and dining room, the incredible 25m lap pool, with its spacious terraces, the resting and flower gardens and a little forest. Roam around as much as you like. Would you want to work out or meditate, we also have a sports and meditation room where we occasionally provide classes. In the evening we recommend you enjoy the sunset from our seats on one of our viewpoints. In winter we invite you to join us around the wood fire. During your stay We are Tracy (Singaporean), Dirk (Belgian), Roxy (our dog) and Tix, Laurel, Hardy and Fynn (our cats). After international careers we sought a change in lifestyle that took us all the way from bustling Singapore to the quiet South-West of France. We speak French, English, Dutch, German, Italian, Malay, Indonesian, Mandarin and Cantonese. We are living on the premises, so we are available for any information or support you might encounter. Yet we respect your privacy. Other things to note Full continental breakfast with freshly baked homemade bread for two is included. Some days we also serve dinner. This could be European or Asian, in view of our mixed background. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions. Breakfast and dinner are served in the main house and we request at least 24h pre-booking.
