Home in Bath
Description
Number 19 is close to the centre and is ideal for solo travellers. The house is situated at the top of a (steep!) hill away from the noise and crowds, but close enough to walk to most of the tourist sites. The bedroom is upstairs next to its own bathroom and is very quiet. Tea and coffee is available downstairs on a self-serve basis, but there are no cooking or food preparation facilities. The space Number 19 is a stylish and tranquil house and the single room is located upstairs at the back of the house next to the private bathroom. The room provides a comfortable single bed with feather duvet and a wardrobe with hanging space and drawers in a light and airy space. Louvered shutters on the sash window provide complete privacy. Next to the bedroom you will find the bathroom with bath tub and overhead shower, a basin and toilet. Guest access Number 19 is close to the centre, but away from the noise and bustle of the shops and traffic. Parking is for residents, but a permit can be arranged at a cost of £5 per night, payable on arrival. The street is actually a steep hill and a no through road so you need to be a confident driver if coming by car. Several buses pass the bottom of the road; otherwise it is about a 25 minute walk from the train station. This is a walking city and most of the sights can be reached within 20-30 minutes. During your stay There will be a warm welcome on arrival, but we encourage guests to be independent once checked in. Other things to note Like many roads in Bath, Thomas Street is a steep hill and not for the faint hearted driver or the less mobile so please bear this in mind when booking.
