In a small Ardèche hamlet, in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche natural park, discover the calm and authenticity of the Pays'âne farm. A stone building formerly listed in the Napoleonic cadastre welcomes you for your getaways with friends and family. The cottages are located on a 14-hectare property. Small food farm with vegetable garden, grain-raised laying hens and a chestnut grove. On site, a shop with farm produce and other local products. The space Our three cottages located at the Pays' âne farm in the heart of the natural park of the Ardèche mountains are quiet and secluded. Grouped together, they can accommodate up to 22 people, which is ideal for gathering together with friends and family. Depending on the number of people at the time of booking, you will occupy 1, 2 or 3 cottages. After 16 people, contact us. A proposal will be sent to you. The large cottage has a vaulted kitchen equipped with fridge, gas cooker with oven, microwave, filter coffee maker, kettle, dishes and all kitchen essentials. A very large living room with 3 sofas, a large table that can accommodate all guests, a library, a space with games... 2 wc, 2 shower rooms, 4 bedrooms each with their sink and a play area for children complete everything. 3 double bedrooms (one with an extra crib) are equipped with 90 beds that can be attached or separated as needed. The 4th bedroom is a dorm with 4 beds in 90. The gîte le Dutch is a small independent house of 42 m2 completely renovated for 4/5 people, consisting of a main room on the ground floor with kitchen, a bedroom and a shower room with wc upstairs. Access to the floor is via a staircase. Equipped kitchen: electric hob, large electric oven and microwave. Filter coffee maker. Refrigerator/deep freezer. Dishes and kitchenware. Beds: 2 single beds and 1 bunk bed 90 x 200 in the bedroom. The gîte la Bergerie is a small independent house of 19 m2 fully equipped for 4 people, composed of a main room on the ground floor with kitchenette, a shower room with toilet and a comfortable double bed. Access to the mezzanine is via a wooden staircase and allows 2 additional beds. (Mezzanine height 1m20) Equipped kitchen: gas stove, microwave. Filter coffee maker. Refrigerator. Dishes and kitchenware. Sleeping arrangements: 2 single beds juxtaposed 90 x 200 on the mezzanine. Bed 140x190cm in the living room. Tables, chairs and barbecue allow you to enjoy the exteriors. A large, flat outdoor area with grass where young and old can play ball, pétanque, table tennis, and more. You can enjoy our three donkeys, brush them, pet them, and, if you feel like it, why not book a hike with them, which will delight both young and old alike. Shadow, our adorable Newfoundland who also brought so much joy to the children, passed away and joined the doggy paradise in the summer of 2025. A hiking trail runs through the property and allows for several varied routes. On the ground floor of our home, a peasant shop offers farm products and local products wine, honey, beer, ice cream, terrine... Food shops, market and restaurants in the village of Saint Sauveur de Montagut located 9 kilometers away. You will also find the river with a landscaped beach and supervised swimming but we can also reveal our secret swimming nooks with waterfalls and jumps. The Eyrieux Valley will seduce you with its unique landscapes. For a stay or a short getaway, visit the villages, hike, canoe down the river, tree climbing or pedal along the Dolce Via! To admire a breathtaking panorama: breathe the fresh air at the Belvedere in Saint Sauveur de Montagut. Further afield, Mont gerbier-de-jonc at 1 hour, the Ray-Pic waterfall. The south Ardèche at 1h15 with its caves (Chauvet cave, Aven d 'Orgnac), Vallon Pont d' Arc... You can follow the news of the Farm country 'donkey on social media. Guest access The hamlet and the farm are accessed by a small communal road that ends in a dead end where you will have access to a private parking space right in front of your cottage. As the road becomes the hiking trail, it is not possible to go any further and get lost! We live and work on site, so you will always have someone to welcome you personally. Late check-in time possible after prior agreement. Check-ins are usually after 4 p.m. and checkouts before 11 a.m. when rentals are back-to-back. On weekends and if the schedule allows, it is possible to arrive earlier on Friday and leave on Sunday in the late afternoon. Feel free to ask! We'll do our best to meet your requests. A bus connects Valence Ville train station to the village of Saint Saviour of Montagut located 10 km from the farm. (Line E12. Valence/Le Cheylard) Other things to note Depending on the number of people at the time of booking, you will occupy 1, 2 or 3 cottages. For more than 16 people, please contact us. A proposal will be sent to you. Please let me know when booking if you need linen and/or cleaning packages and the presence of a pet. To be paid on site: Firewood weekend package 35 euro. Linen option 9 euros per person including sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, bath mats and dish towel. End-of-stay cleaning option 160 euros. Pet fee: 25 euros per pet. The property must be returned perfectly clean. Otherwise, the cleaning deposit will be retained (200 euros). Parties without prior consent are prohibited. No washing machine in the accommodation but the owner can wash your laundry in their own washing machine.
