Dog friendly annexe with rural views at Hell Lane

Our cosy, dog friendly self catering annexe sleeps 2 with everything you need for a short rural stay. The one room, with ensuite shower room, has a double bed, kitchenette with cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, table, seating area with TV, Netflix, Alexa and free wifi. The annexe is nestled between our house and another holiday let at start of the infamous 'Hell Lane' where Julia Bradbury filmed her memorable walk to Symondsbury along the holloways in her 'Walks with a View' programme. The space Hell Lane Annexe is perfect for walkers and countryside lovers whether you are arriving on foot or in the car. It's rural, being situated about a mile inland from the A35 road which runs between Bridport and Lyme Regis, yet is only a mile away to a well stocked village shop and an excellent pub in Chideock (you can easily walk it on a sunny evening in around 30 minutes). Go less than a mile further from Chideock and you can be on the fossilising beach at Seatown and yet another award-winning pub right by the shore! Numerous walks to the coast and countryside can be done straight from Hell Lane Annexe exploring nature and interesting wildlife as you walk. Although the walk higher up Hell Lane itself is presently uneven under foot and very muddy. The annexe is attached to our house and another holiday let, under different ownership, so you may hear noise on occasions. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, a tortoise and some hens. Guest access The annexe is available for bookings from one night stays right up to 4 weeks, we offer discounts for the longer stays and with no price increases for peak periods and no additional charge for up to 2 dogs. Other things to note We have two friendly dogs and two cats as well as a variety chickens and a tortoise. Fields surround our house and annexe so you may see some sheep cows and goats from your window.
