You can't get any quieter

Our cozy apartment with tiled stove has one bedroom with bunk bed and sofa bed in the living room. In front of the separate entrance (4 steps) there is a sunny patio, which can be used. The apartment was newly renovated in 2017. Grünwald has little through traffic. Ideal starting point for day trips to Lake Constance or Switzerland. 7 minutes drive to Schluchsee, 20 minutes to Feldberg or Titisee. Beautiful walks directly from the house. The space Our cottage from 1884 is located right next to the church on the grounds of the former Grünwald monastery. The cozy apartment on the ground floor was completely renovated in 2017. Bedroom with bunk bed. Heating can be done with a traditional tiled stove, for which we provide enough heating material. In case you need to warm up quickly, there are also additional electric heaters. In the living room with original pine planks there is a comfortable pull-out bed. This makes the apartment comfortable for up to 4 people. The kitchen is well equipped, so cooking for the family is no problem. Unfortunately, there was no space for a dishwasher. The patio right in front of the entrance is sunny and quiet. If you like it shadier, just move under the tree! Wi-Fi and a stereo system are provided, as is a TV. In the apartment you will find a few travel guides and maps that you are welcome to take with you on your excursions. If the children are bored, they will also find a few games and books. Grünwald is a place with about 15 houses that belongs to the municipality of Lenzkirch. With us you will find absolute peace and quiet and you can spend the days with leisurely walks or even more ambitious hikes. At the same time, Grünwald is ideally located as a starting point for day trips. Many of our guests use our apartment as a base to make trips to Lake Constance, Europa-Park or Switzerland. In the area there are some swimming lakes, such as the Schluchsee (7 minutes), Windgfällweiher (12 minutes) or the Titisee (20 minutes). You can also reach Feldberg or Hinterzarten in 20 minutes. Freiburg is a 50-minute drive away, and by train from Schluchsee you can enjoy the view from the window in 1 hour's drive through the Höllental. Winter sports enthusiasts can reach Feldberg in just 20 minutes in winter, or go snowshoeing directly from the front door. There is plenty to see and do for children of all ages. The little ones are enthusiastic about the horses and cattle grazing right in front of the windows of the apartment. For the older ones, the ride on the Hasenhornbahn (summer toboggan run) or a visit to the Black Forest bathing paradise are great. The municipality charges a visitor's tax, which is included in the rental price. For this purpose, the "Konus card" is provided, with which you can use regional trains and buses free of charge. We ourselves use the apartment on the 2nd floor. We know the area well and are happy to give tips and answer questions. We have already compiled an overview with our personal recommendations for restaurants, shopping and leisure activities that you will find in the apartment. Guest access The apartment has its own entrance. The patio in front of the house is available for our guests. Our private area is located on the side and behind the house. Other things to note The flat rate includes bed linen, towels, visitor's tax and, during the heating season, fuel for the tiled stove.
