Little Seashell Cottage is a quaint semi-detached cottage which sits in the Middle Street conservation area in the heart of historic Deal, a short distance to the beach. It is a wonderful romantic retreat for two, ideal for quiet cosy evenings relaxing after a day on the beach or exploring the many interesting places that are part of the Kent coast. Little Seashell Cottage has been refurbished to provide many of the comforts of a modern home in a traditional fisherman's cottage The space Little Seashell Cottage has been designed to offer open plan living in a surprisingly spacious ground floor space having light flooding in from the floor to ceiling window in the lounge. The bi-folding doors lead from the well equipped and modern kitchen onto a decked area where a bistro table and chairs offer the guests the chance to dine outside when the weather allows. Up the steep stairs is a double bedroom with king-size bed and décor especially chosen for its seascape theme. Guests have access to Wi-Fi, and a television with all the usual Freeview channels. Be aware that that the bedroom is open to the stair well and therefore there is no door between the lounge and the bedroom (see photos). The bathroom is private with a door between it and the bedroom. The bathroom has a shower only. There is a local shop within 50 metres of the property, which stocks many of your basic necessities. Opposite this shop is also a very good take away fish and chip shop. Though the cottage is on a quiet street, it is less than five minutes walk away from six local bars and pubs and a further couple of minutes from the centre of town with its many more cafes, bars and restaurants.
