Sunny, private apartment in historic neighborhood

Located in Historic Hyattsville, the apartment was a recent addition to our historic craftsman bungalow. Within minutes from University of MD, Catholic University and the Washington DC border, the apartment is quiet, cozy and very sunny with a private entrance as well as French doors leading out to a private patio. Located in a safe, family-friendly neighborhood with tree-lined streets, within walking distance to restaurants, yoga studios, coffee shops and an organic coop. The space The apartment is charming, cozy, very sunny with large, energy-efficient windows, and tastefully decorated with art and photography from around the world. There is a private entrance off the driveway, as well as French doors leading out to a private patio with a BBQ grill and large back yard with fire pit for your use. The kitchenette in the family room is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, microwave, convection oven, hot plate, sink, cabinets, and tea and coffee-maker. There is a sleeper sofa that fits two children or one adult comfortably, a Greek-tiled table and a flat-screen TV with DVD player and several DVDs for you to watch during your stay. The bed in the bedroom is super comfortable with a queen-sized Tempur-pedic mattress that conforms to your body. There is a dresser and plenty of closet space to store suitcases and your personal items. The bathroom is fully-equipped with towels, shampoo/conditioner and a hairdryer. There is also an iron/ironing board located in the closet. Guest access You will have access to the entire apartment via a private entrance. We will provide you with the door code and also a key to use during your stay. Other things to note We have 2 cats in the main house, however the apartment is pet-free to accommodate guests with allergies.
