Our incredible home is a beautiful Grade II listed Manor House with a fascinating history dating back to the Middle Ages, located 13 miles from central Bath. We have recently extensively refurbished and restored this amazing property. Interiors in keeping with the majestic nature of the building include open fires, log burners, an oak panelled dining room, flagstone and parquet flooring on the ground floor and a wealth of period details throughout. Very large garden and parking for 12 cars. The space This house is perfect for a group or large family holiday in a gorgeous historic setting. The large number of sleeping options include three four poster beds as well as an array of newly fitted bathrooms. Guest access Guests can access all areas of this extraordinary historic building, including large kitchen, separate kitchenette, dining room with seating for up to 23 guests, stunning library with new log burner and Chesterfield suite, and comfortable family living room for relaxing after a long local walk. There are also six bedrooms and five bathrooms for guest use - only the loft spaces and one large pantry are out of bounds for guest use. Hosts live on site and are available to help with any questions or practicalities during your stay! Other things to note Guests have the use of our large gravelled courtyard for parking any vehicles they bring, and also use of our extremely large garden, including BBQ, fire-bowl, and two long picnic tables for sitting out and enjoying a meal. We are also happy to provide comfortable deckchairs and gravity chairs so that you can sit out and enjoy the sun!
